VENT COVER ASSEMBLY
A vent cover assembly to cover an opening in a crawl space vent includes a vent cover having upper and lower surfaces, an outer perimeter and a planar clip. The vent cover includes a slit positioned through the upper and lower surfaces of the vent cover to receive the clip. The clip has a ring portion and a first leg and a second leg extending therefrom. The first and second legs are configured to be slidably inserted through the slit of the vent cover. The first and second legs of the clip are positioned and configured to receive therebetween a portion of a vertically positioned central wall of the crawl space vent. The central wall is frictionally griped between the first and second legs of the clip, and the inner surface of the vent cover is simultaneously positioned over an outer perimeter of the vent to close the vent.
Vent sealing device and system
A vent sealing device includes first and second elongated tubular members having a funnel shaped cap along the upper surface for directing rain water into a vent pipe. A screen is positioned along the top of the device. A vent sealing system includes the vent sealing device and a roof attachment having an elongated base structure and a flexible sleeve protruding outward therefrom.
Gable vent that blocks fire, rain and water
Improvements in an outside house vent that blocks embers, water and rain that can cause damage to a house of building. The prevention of fire and ember intrusion into a building prevents fires in homes where invalids and children are left alone. The prevention of water into structure further reduces the potential for mold growth in the attic or walls of a home or structure. The filtering further prevents intrusion of creatures such as but not limited to bugs, insects, bees, wasps, animals, critters and other flying and crawling animals from entering the building. The vent is a fireproof set of louver or filter pads with fire arresting screens that is passed through a wall that vents into the building. The vent can be installed on old and new construction to provide improved fire prevention, increase the value and salability in fire prone areas.
Evaporative cooler
An evaporative cooler having a pressurized water distribution system that provides even water distribution to evaporative media pads within the evaporative cooler, even when the evaporative pads are canted and/or are not in perfect alignment. In one embodiment, the evaporative cooler includes a weatherproof sealing assembly that is transitionable between an open position and a closed position. In one embodiment, the evaporative cooler includes a reservoir having a plurality of ribs on a bottom surface to facilitate seating the evaporative cooler on a roof during installation. A method of installing an evaporative cooler including mounting at least a portion of the evaporative cooler to a dropper before securing the dropper to the roof.
Louvers, and Wind Turbines Comprising Such Louvers
The present disclosure relates to louvers for enabling an air passage between an outside and an inside. More particularly, the present disclosure relates to louvers enabling said air passage while minimizing rain ingress towards an interior and minimizing noise produced in the interior. The present disclosure further relates to wind turbines including said louvers.
EXHAUST VENT AND UTILITY TERMINATION FOR HVAC LINE SETS AND ELECTRICAL WIRES
The present invention is directed to an exhaust vent assembly including a sleeve, a neck, a damper in the neck, a cap attached to the neck and a collar. The exhaust vent assembly may be configured without any tools and without any penetrative fasteners. The invention is further directed to a utility termination for HVAC line sets, electrical wires or the like. The utility termination includes a plastic sleeve, a plastic cover and a cap. The components for utility terminations may also be used to fabricate the exhaust vent.
AUTOMATIC FLUID DELIVERY SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A fluid delivery system for delivering a fluid from an automatic water source to animals housed in cages in high density caging systems may comprise a fluid delivery valve assembly, wherein the fluid delivery valve assembly is adapted to be coupled to the automatic water source to facilitate the provision of fluid to animals housed in the cages. The fluid delivery valve assembly may further comprise a valve body and end cap, which may be joined together, that define a fluid channel. The fluid delivery valve assembly may further comprise sealing elements, a spring element, and an interior stem disposed at least in part in the fluid channel to open and close the fluid channel.
RAIN SHIELD FOR A HEAT EXCHANGER COMPONENT
A system includes a coil of an outdoor unit, where tubing forming the coil is configured to circulate a refrigerant therethrough, a fan configured to direct air from within an inner chamber formed by a structure of the coil such that air is in a heat exchange relationship with the refrigerant, a motor located within the inner chamber, where the motor is configured to rotate the fan, a panel coupled to the coil, a fan controller mounted to the panel such that the fan controller is positioned within the inner chamber remote from the fan and the motor, where the fan controller is coupled to the motor, and the fan controller is configured to supply power to the motor to adjust a speed of the fan, and a rain shield disposed over the fan controller and configured to block contaminants from entering a housing of the fan controller.
RAIN HOOD WITH AIR FLOW SENSOR
An air handling unit includes a rain hood configured to receive an air flow from an external environment surrounding the rain hood, and a sensor disposed within the rain hood and configured to monitor air flow parameters indicative of a flow rate of the air flow.
ELECTRIC CABINET OF AIR CONDITIONER AND AIR CONDITIONER HAVING THE SAME
An electric cabinet of an air conditioner includes a box body, a bottom plate, and a ventilation cover plate; the bottom plate is installed at the bottom of the box body, the ventilation cover plate is installed at the bottom of the bottom plate and forms a cavity with the bottom plate; air vents are provided on the bottom plate, shutters are provided on the ventilation cover plate, and the shutters are aligned with the air vents on the bottom plate.
