Air-conditioning apparatus
An air-conditioning apparatus according to the present disclosure includes a heat medium circulation circuit, a heat-source-side device, and a voltage drop device. In the heat medium circulation circuit, a pump, an indoor heat exchanger, and a flow control device are connected by pipes to circulate the heat medium. The pump sends a heat medium that contains water or brine and transfers heat. The indoor heat exchanger causes heat exchange to be performed between the heat medium and an indoor air in an air-conditioned space. The flow control device controls a flow rate of the heat medium in the indoor heat exchanger. The heat-source-side device heats or cools the heat medium before the heat medium is sent to the indoor heat exchanger. The voltage drop device reduces a voltage that is applied to the pump based on a value of a current that is supplied to the pump, in association with a flow rate of the heat medium in the heat medium circulation circuit.

The safety system further includes a connection structure connecting the internal spaces of the casings via the first and second openings, and a discharge structure connected to the connection structure or one of the casings and configured to discharge air from the internal space of the casing in which a refrigerant leakage has occurred. The casing has first and second lateral faces facing different directions, and the first opening is formed in the first lateral face and the second opening is formed in the second lateral face.
Single-pipe thermal energy system
Thermal energy systems for managing, distribution and recovery of thermal energy. A single-pipe loop circulating a two-phase refrigerant is provided. The single-pipe loop is spread through the entire system and interconnects a plurality of local heat exchange stations, each having different thermal energy loads. A central circulation mechanism (CCM) is also provided for circulating the refrigerant for distribution of thermal energy within the system.
AIR CONDITIONER
An air conditioner comprises a first refrigeration cycle and a second refrigeration cycle. The first refrigeration cycle comprises an evaporator, a condenser, a compressor and a throttle valve; the evaporator, the condenser, the compressor and the throttle valve are connected to form a first loop; the first refrigeration cycle further comprises a refrigerant which circulates in the first loop; the second refrigeration cycle comprises an antifreeze fluid tank, a pump and a heat exchanger; the antifreeze fluid tank, the pump and the heat exchanger are connected into a second loop; the second refrigeration cycle further comprises an antifreeze fluid which circulates in the second loop; the evaporator is installed in the antifreeze fluid tank and immersed in the antifreeze fluid in the antifreeze fluid tank. The air conditioner is novel in design and high in practicability.
Climate-Control System With Sensible And Latent Cooling
A climate-control system may include a vapor-compression circuit and an air handler assembly. The vapor-compression circuit may include a compressor, an outdoor heat exchanger, and first and second working-fluid-fluid flow paths. The first and second working-fluid-flow paths are in fluid communication with the outdoor heat exchanger. The first working-fluid-flow path may include a first expansion device and a first indoor heat exchanger. The second working-fluid-flow path may include a second expansion device and a second indoor heat exchanger. The first and second indoor heat exchangers are disposed within the air handler assembly. The air handler assembly includes a return-air-inlet duct, first and second airflow paths, and a supply-air-outlet duct. The first airflow path may receive air from the return-air-inlet duct and houses the first indoor heat exchanger. The second airflow path may receive air from the return-air-inlet duct. The supply-air-outlet duct receives air from the first and second airflow paths.
AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEM
An air conditioner has a refrigerant circuit in which a refrigerant circulates and a controller, and is configured to condition air in an indoor space. A countermeasure device is provided against leakage of the refrigerant to the indoor space. A detector is configured to detect a concentration of the refrigerant in the indoor space. A first relay is connected to the controller and the countermeasure device. The controller closes the first relay when the concentration of the refrigerant detected by the detector exceeds a predetermined allowable concentration. The countermeasure device operates when the first relay is closed.
AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEM
An air-conditioning system includes a plurality of air-conditioning apparatuses that, in an indoor space that is divided into a plurality of air-conditioned areas, each condition air in a corresponding one of the plurality of air-conditioned areas, a wireless communication module that communicates with an information communication terminal to which pieces of setting information that are each set for a corresponding one of the plurality of air-conditioning apparatuses and represent operational details of the air-conditioning apparatus are input, and a controller that controls the plurality of air-conditioning apparatuses on the basis of the pieces of setting information communicated via the wireless communication module.
