Evaporative Cooler and Method for Controlling the Same
An evaporative cooler includes a first heat exchanger, a first coolant storage, a second coolant storage, and a first airflow drive. The first heat exchanger is capable of cooling a coolant flowing through the first heat exchanger, and cooling an air flowing through the first heat exchanger by way of the cooled coolant. The first coolant storage forms a first coolant circulating path with the first heat exchanger and provides the coolant to the first heat exchanger. The second coolant storage forms a second coolant circulating path with the first coolant storage and is capable of supplementing the first coolant storage with the coolant. The capacity of the second coolant storage is larger than that of the first coolant storage. The first airflow drive cooperates with the first heat exchanger to direct and eject the air flowing through the first heat exchanger.
THERMOELECTRIC HEAT EXCHANGER FOR AN HVAC SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates to a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system having a heat exchanger configured to thermally regulate a supply air flow, where the heat exchanger includes a thermoelectric device, a first plurality of fins coupled to the thermoelectric device, and a second plurality of fins coupled to the thermoelectric device. The first plurality of fins extend into a supply air flow path of the supply air flow to transfer thermal energy between the thermoelectric device and the supply air flow and the second plurality of fins convectively transfer thermal energy between the thermoelectric device and a working fluid exterior the supply air flow path.
WATER COOLED PHOTOVOLTAIC PANEL SYSTEM
A cooling system for a photovoltaic panel including micro flat heat pipes (HP) integrated with thermoelectric generators (TEG) and a cooled water reservoir for cooling the working fluid in heat pipes. The cooled water in the reservoir is pumped from the condensate pan of an air conditioner. Experimental results show that cooling system reduced the average temperature of the panel by as much as 19° C. or 25%. Further, the output power of the photovoltaic panel increased by 44% when the photovoltaic panel was used in a very hot climate (30-40° C.). An additional two watts of power was generated by the TEGs.
Air cleaner including thermoelectric module
An air cleaner including a thermoelectric module includes a blowing fan, a filter, and a thermoelectric module, so it is possible to generate cold air or hot air and perform air purification.
Humidifying device
A humidifying device includes an air inlet, an internal air passage through which air taken in from the air inlet passes, a first thermometer that measures a temperature of the air taken in from the air inlet, a first hygrometer that measures a humidity of the air taken in from the air inlet, a cooler installed in a path of the internal air passage, and a cooling control unit that controls the cooler. The cooling control unit changes a cooling intensity of the cooler in a case where values measured by the first thermometer and the first hygrometer are out of a predetermined range.
COOLING APPARATUS
The invention relates to a portable cooling vented apparatus, comprising: an array made of one or more thermoelectric cooler(s), each thermoelectric cooler having a cold side and a hot side, the cumulative cold sides and the cumulative hot sides of all the thermoelectric coolers define cold and hot sides of the array, respectively; one or more heatsinks at the hot side of the array; and at least one reservoir configured to supply liquid to the heatsink(s), by being adjoined to the heatsink(s) and/or with the aid of one or more liquid channels connected to said reservoir and installed in the interior of the cooling apparatus in proximity to, or within, said heatsink(s); wherein the apparatus is open to the surroundings.
A method of cooling using a thermoelectric cooler is also provided.
Vehicular air conditioner
A vehicular air conditioner includes a first outlet that blows a conditioned air frontward to flow past a neck part of an occupant on a seat, and a second outlet that is provided below the first outlet and blows the conditioned air upward to flow past an armpit part of the occupant. The second outlet blows the conditioned air to merge with the conditioned air blown from the first outlet. The second outlet blows the conditioned air with an airflow volume larger than an airflow volume of the conditioned air from the first outlet such that the conditioned air blown from the second outlet guides the conditioned air blown from the first outlet to flow along a face of the occupant.
AIR STERILIZATION DEVICE WITH HEATING APPARATUS
