Microwave and Ultraviolet Energy Air Sterilization System
An air sterilization system utilizing three stages of sterilization using UVC and microwave energy created by one or more magnetrons powered by solid state high voltage supplies. The first stage is formed by a chamber with concentrated 265 nm UVC generated by two rings of UVC leds, the second stage formed by a chamber with a labyrinth to allow maximum exposure of the air by microwaves generated by 2 magnetrons, the third stage is formed with concentrated 265 nm UVC generated by two rings of UVC leds. There are also HEPA filters at both the inlet and outlet of the unit. The unit can be configured to be free standing without specialized installation required or can be hardwired into a circuit. Only the stand-alone unit incorporates a telescoping inlet to the height to be adjusted up to 12 feet.
Cutoff for a blower housing
A centrifugal blower includes a centrifugal fan having a fan wheel, the fan wheel has a rotational axis and blades extending radially outwardly from the fan wheel, a blower housing including a first panel and a second panel disposed on opposite sides of the centrifugal fan and extending transverse to the rotational axis of the fan wheel, and further including a wall extending about the rotational axis and between the first panel and the second panel, where the wall includes a flange having a cross-sectional camber geometry, an intake passage extending through the first panel and facilitating fluid flow into the fan wheel, and an outlet of the housing facilitating fluid flow out of the housing, the outlet formed by the first panel, the second panel, and the wall, where the flange extends outwardly from the outlet.
Critical Area Recirculation and Exhaust System
A critical area recirculation and exhaust system for a room operates in a normal operating mode where fresh air is delivered from an air handler through a diffuser and returned to the air handler through a room return duct. In a selected isolation operating mode, a fan filter unit is activated to draw contaminated air from the room through one or more filters and to expel the filtered air through the diffuser and through an exhaust air duct to create an increased air change rate and a negative pressure in the room.
Air moving device with bypass intake
An air moving device has a housing with a primary flow path and a secondary flow path that extends from a secondary inlet of the housing and empties into an inner outlet adjacent the primary flow path. An impeller assembly rotates a blade to cause air to enter the housing and flow along the primary flow path. The flow of air through the primary flow path creates a low pressure region at the inner outlet of the secondary flow path, causing air to flow through the secondary flow path and mix with the air in the primary flow path. The mixture of air flows through a downstream portion of the primary flow path having an expanded width compared to an upstream portion of the primary flow path and exits the housing. Stator vanes may extend longitudinally within the housing to cause columnar air flow. The device may be used for destratification of thermal gradients of air within an enclosure, such as a home or warehouse.
ROTARY ROOF VENT
This invention relates to smoke removal and exhaust air ventilation devices with a radial flow, namely to radial-flow (centrifugal) smoke removal and ventilation fans installed on the roofs of buildings, and providing removal of smoke, gases and air from the premises in the event of fire or gas contamination by force of the natural draft. The rotary roof vent comprises a base, a rim, blades, a shaft on which the rim with the blades rotate; wherein the base, rims with the bushings, a cover and the blades are monolithically cast from plastic, the roof vent comprises two rims mounted one in the other and connected by a locking mechanism consisting in three protuberances on the bushings, the blades are installed in the upper and lower rims, with bearings being provided for installation of the upper and lower rims. The cover is made in the form of a hemisphere. The technical result consists in the improvement of technical and operational characteristics, as well as expanding the range of technical means stack. 3 files, 2 figures.
Air conditioner and ventilation apparatus for the same
An air conditioner includes a main body including a body fan, a heat exchanger, and a body housing. A ventilation hose connects the main body to outdoor air. A ventilation module is attached to an outer side of the body housing, and includes a ventilation fan. The ventilation module switches between an exhaust mode in which indoor air is exhausted to the outdoors through the ventilation hose and an air supply mode in which outdoor air is supplied to the main body through the ventilation hose.
Dynamic register system with an adapter member for oscillating air vents
A dynamic register system automatically adjusts venting panels attached to an air vent in order to evenly disperse the air supplied by the vent in a room. The dynamic register system includes a fan internally mounted within the air vent. The air supplied by the air vent causes the fan to turn providing the system with mechanical energy. The fan is then attached to a gear system which in turn is attached to an adapter. The gear system then translates the rotational mechanical energy of the fan into an oscillating motion for the adapter. The adapter is then mounted to an axle which engages with the venting panels attached to the vent. As the adapter oscillates the axle is adjusted which in turn adjusts the venting panels periodically to evenly distribute air.
Lighting System With Vacuum Intake
A lighting system with vacuum intake is provided, having a lighting structure including at least one light-emitting element dimensioned to illuminate a region, and a lighting support structure extending at a first end thereof from the lighting structure and enabling repositioning of the lighting structure relative to a second end of the lighting support structure. The lighting support structure hays an air conduit extending therealong and connectable or connected towards the second end of the lighting support structure to a vacuum system, the air conduit being in fluid communication with a vacuum intake positioned towards the lighting structure.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING SELECTIVE FAN OR VENT COOLING
An apparatus and method for providing selective fan or vent cooling are disclosed. An example embodiment includes: a return plenum box having a return box opening, a fan opening, and a return duct opening; a fan coupled to the fan opening; a controller coupled to the plenum box; and an adjustable damper coupled to a hinge point of the return plenum box, the damper being adjustable between a closed position, which blocks the fan opening and an open position that blocks the return duct opening.
HVAC DELIVERY SYSTEM IN HIGH VOLUME LOW-SPEED FAN
An HVAC delivery system to supply air from an HVAC system in proximity to a fan blade. A fan blade for use in a high volume, low-speed fan, wherein the fan blade includes a body portion, a leading edge portion and a trailing portion. The leading edge portion of the fan blade includes a series of steps extending along the length of the leading edge. The fan distributes airflow from the HVAC delivery system.
