FILTER SYSTEMS FOR TREATING AIR AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
Disclosed herein are systems and methods for treating air.
AN AIR PURIFIER COMPRISING A DIFFUSER
The present invention relates to an air purifier (1) comprising a body (2) having an air inlet (I) through which the air in the environment is sucked and a clean air outlet (O) through which the cleaned air is released to the environment; a CO.sub.2 adsorption unit (3) which is provided on the body (2), which can be filled with basic liquid solution and which provides the adsorption of the carbon dioxide in the air; and an air duct (4) which provides the delivery of the air taken from the body (2) to the CO.sub.2 adsorption unit (3).
AN AIR PURIFIER COMPRISING A DIFFUSER

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR VENTILATION
A system including a housing that at least partially defines a cavity therein. The housing includes one or more apertures to permit air to circulate between the cavity and an external volume that is outside the housing. The system includes one or more fans for circulating the air through the cavity via the apertures. The system may also include one or more disinfecting devices for at least partially disinfecting the air moving through the cavity.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR VENTILATION
A system including a housing that at least partially defines a cavity therein. The housing includes one or more apertures to permit air to circulate between the cavity and an external volume that is outside the housing. The system includes one or more fans for circulating the air through the cavity via the apertures. The system may also include one or more disinfecting devices for at least partially disinfecting the air moving through the cavity.
MYCOTOXIN REMOVAL FROM THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT
A method for the removal of mycotoxins from a space associated with a built environment is disclosed. The method may include one or more of the steps of: filtering air within the space using a first filter including a High-Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filter and a second filter including a carbon filter; and, applying a cleaning product including a high alkaline product to one or more surfaces proximate the space.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PURIFYING AIR FROM BIOLOGICAL AGENTS AND VOLATILE ORGANIC COMPOUNDS
A method for improving indoor air quality in a room, comprising drawing air from the room and guiding the air into a gas/liquid contactor charged with aqueous alkali hydroxide/H.sub.2O.sub.2 solution, passing the air through a perforated membrane installed in the gas/liquid contactor below the surface level of the aqueous alkali hydroxide/H.sub.2O.sub.2 solution, such that bubbles produced travel through said solution, and getting treated air with improved quality from said gas/liquid contactor, said treated air is characterized by having: reduced carbon dioxide levels; and/or reduced VOC levels; and/or reduced microbiological load. An air purifier to carry out the method is also provided.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PURIFYING AIR FROM BIOLOGICAL AGENTS AND VOLATILE ORGANIC COMPOUNDS

Ventilation system
A ventilation system includes an inside air passage having inflow and outflow ends communicating with an indoor space to be ventilated, at least one permeable film unit including a permeable film, and an air supply passage having an inflow end communicating with an outdoor space and an outflow end connected to a downstream side of the permeable film in the inside air passage. The permeable film allows a target gas to pass and allows the target gas that has passed through the permeable film to be discharged into outdoor air. The target gas contains at least one of carbon dioxide and a volatile organic compound in indoor air that flows in the inside air passage. Alternatively or in addition, the ventilation system can include an outside air passage and a discharge passage in place of or in addition to the inside air passage and the air supply passage, respectively.
Air conditioning device and control method thereof
An air purification device includes a driving part for changing a location thereof, a fan, a carbon dioxide absorption filter for absorbing carbon dioxide in the air, a filter reproduction part for removing carbon dioxide absorbed into the carbon dioxide absorption filter, and a processor configured to control the driving part such that the air conditioning device moves to an area that can support ventilation, and drive the filter reproduction part for removing carbon dioxide absorbed into the carbon dioxide absorption filter in the area that can support ventilation.
