SYSTEM FOR THE CONTROLLING OF HOT WATER CYLINDERS
The present invention relates to a system that allows the temperature of water inlet and outlet tubes in a water cylinder to be measured, making it possible to estimate the energy stored in the device and to estimate the times when the hot water is being used, in addition to allowing user behaviour to be predicted, anomalies in the hot water to be detected, and the power consumption of the device to be optimised. The device comprises: a water cylinder controller (100) disposed on the case; two thermocouple cables (300) for measuring the water inlet and outlet temperature in the cylinder; and an antenna (200) coupled to an antenna connector (12) in order to connect the controller (100) to another server or to the cloud, where the information is processed.
Systems and methods for checking status of a pressure transducer
A method of controlling a gas furnace system includes determining a first pressure in a conduit coupled to a draft inducer from signals output by a pressure transducer positioned to sense a pressure within the conduit with a motor of the draft inducer in a stopped condition. A first status of the pressure transducer is determined based at least in part on the first pressure. The motor of the draft inducer is controlled to increase a speed of the motor from the stopped condition in response to a call for heat when the first status does not indicate that the pressure transducer is unreliable, and the motor is maintained in a stopped condition when the first status indicates that the pressure transducer is unreliable.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CHECKING STATUS OF A PRESSURE TRANSDUCER
A method of controlling a gas furnace system includes controlling a motor of a draft inducer to increase a speed of the motor in response to a call for heat, receiving pressure signals output by a pressure transducer, receiving signals indicating whether a pressure switch is in a first state or a second state, and determining a first status of the pressure transducer as reliable, unreliable, or questionable at a first time based on the received pressure signals from the pressure transducer, the signals indicating whether the pressure switch is in the first state or the second state, and a first status of the motor of the draft inducer at the first time. Operation of the motor of the draft inducer is stopped when the first status of the pressure transducer indicates that the pressure transducer is unreliable.
Field configuration of commercial water heaters
A system and method for configuring a water heater. The method includes capturing, with a mobile device a scannable feature of a rating plate and receiving, with the mobile device, an input indicative of a configuration selection. The method further includes configuring, with the mobile device, the water heater based on the configuration selection.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CHECKING STATUS OF A PRESSURE TRANSDUCER
A method of controlling a gas furnace system includes controlling a motor of a draft inducer coupled to a conduit to increase a speed of the motor from a stopped condition in response to a call for heat, and receiving pressure signals output by a pressure transducer responsive to pressure in the conduit. Signals indicating whether a pressure switch responsive to pressure in the conduit is in a first state or a second state are received. A first status of the pressure transducer is determined based on the received pressure signals from the pressure transducer and the signals indicating whether the pressure switch is in the first state or the second state. The method includes continuing to operate the motor when the first status does not indicate that the pressure transducer is unreliable, and stopping the motor when the first status indicates that the pressure transducer is unreliable.
AUTONOMOUS ENERGY SAVING DEVICE FOR WATER HEATERS
The autonomous energy saving device (2) enabling the control of a water heater (1) connected to a power grid comprising a phase P, a neutral N and a protective conductor T operating on a permanent power supply or during rate periods using a switch or timer, said energy saving device (2) comprises inputs E1, E2, E3 and the outputs S1, S2, S3 and between inputs E1 and E2 and the outputs S1 and S2 at least one primary circuit board (7) comprising at least one electronic component (3, 4) and a control algorithm to remove or reduce the heating times of the water heater (1) without changing the technical characteristics of the water heater, and in order to adapt its operation to the needs of the user.
Field configuration of commercial water heaters
A system and method for configuring a water heater. The method includes capturing, with a mobile device a scannable feature of a rating plate, establishing a network connection between the mobile device and a server, transmitting information captured from the scannable feature by the mobile device to the server over the network connection, receiving from the server to the mobile device a plurality of water heater configurations in response to the information, receiving, with the mobile device, an input indicative of a configuration selection selected from the plurality of water heater configurations, and transmitting configuration information from the mobile device to the water heater to configure the water heater based on the configuration selection.
Water Heater Building Management System Gateway
A building management system (BMS) gateway comprises a BMS router and a water heater hub configured to be communicatively coupled to a plurality of water heaters. The BMS router facilitates communication of status and control data between a BMS and the water heaters connected to the water heater hub. Connecting multiple water heaters to a single BMS gateway provides simplified installation and networking requirements. For installations with more water heaters than are able to be coupled to the water heater hub, additional BMS gateways may be installed. Local controls for water heaters managed by the BMS are typically disabled or overwritten by the BMS to prevent changes to settings. A local BMS user interface (UI) is configured to connect with the BMS gateway(s) and facilitate secure access, display, and/or adjustment of water heater status and control data for the plurality of water heaters connected to the BMS gateway(s).
