Heating and hot water supply system
A heating and hot water supply system, including: a combustion unit combusting a fuel to generate a combustion gas; a heat exchange unit heating a heat medium and hot water according to heat exchange with the combustion gas; an exhaust unit that exhausting the combustion gas after heat exchange. The heat exchange unit includes a plate type heat exchanger by laminating vertically-upright rectangular plates with gaps, and is configured to heat the heat medium by causing the combustion gas and the heat medium to alternately flow through the gaps. An inlet for the heat medium is provided at lower corner of the plate type heat exchanger, a discharge opening for the heat medium is provided at upper corner farthest from the inlet, and a hot water passage through which hot water flows in the plate type heat exchanger is provided at upper corner above the inlet.
ELECTRIC HEATER SYSTEM
An electric heater system includes an inlet, an outlet, a plurality of heat exchanger assemblies, and one or more connectors. The plurality of heat exchanger assemblies are connected in series. Each heat exchanger assembly includes a vessel, heating elements disposed within the vessel, and a fluid guide member. The connectors secure the vessels of the plurality of heat exchanger assemblies to each other. The connectors are also in fluid communication with the vessels. Fluid entering the inlet flows through the heat exchanger assemblies and through one or more connectors where it exits the outlet. The fluid guide members of the heat exchanger assemblies are of different or the same combinations to generate a predetermined pressure drop between the inlet and the outlet.
HEATING ELEMENT WITH OPEN-CELL STRUCTURE
A heating element comprises a main body having a three-dimensional matrix with an open structure including openings and internal voids, cavities and/or pores extending throughout the main body. The three-dimensional matrix is provided as a lattice having a repeating unit cell extending in three directions. The present heating element is adapted for maximised surface area so as to provide an effective and efficient thermal energy transfer medium.
PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD AND FLUID HEATER
A printed circuit board includes a conducting path shaped via a subtractive method and a heating line. The heating line is formed by the conducting path and designed to have a predetermined heating power for a heating fluid. The printed circuit board further includes a heat dispersion layer designed for transferring heat to the fluid. A heater includes such a printed circuit board.
CONTINUOUS HELICAL BAFFLE HEAT EXCHANGER
A heater includes a flow guide and a plurality of electrical resistance heating elements. The flow guide defines a continuous geometric helicoid disposed about a longitudinal axis of the heater assembly. The flow guide defines a predetermined pattern of perforations that extend in a longitudinal direction through a first longitudinal length of the geometric helicoid, the longitudinal direction being parallel to the longitudinal axis. The plurality of electrical resistance heating elements extend through the perforations. At least one electrical resistance heating element of the plurality of electrical resistance heating elements has a first region with a first watt density and a second region with a second watt density. The second region is located farther in the longitudinal direction than the first region. The second watt density is less than the first watt density.
Modular manifold for a tankless water heater
A modular manifold for a tankless water heater includes a first cavity member having a first opening, a second opening, and a base wall; a second cavity member coupled to the first cavity member, the second cavity member having a first opening, a second opening, and a base wall; a first cover plate coupled to either the first cavity member or the second cavity member; and a second cover plate coupled to either the first cavity member or the second cavity member, wherein two openings in the first and second openings are covered by the first and second cover plates, respectively, and wherein the base walls of the first and second cavity members, the first and second cover plates, and the two openings in the first and second openings not covered by the first and second cover plates define a fluid flow path in the modular manifold.
HEAT EXCHANGER
A heat exchanger for heating a fluid flowing through a pipe using a combustion gas includes: a body including open upper and lower ends and having a space formed therein to allow the combustion gas to pass therethrough; a combustor formed in an upper portion of the space in which combustion of the combustion gas occurs; a heat exchange portion formed below the combustor and provided with a heat exchange pipe configured to heat an internal fluid by using the combustion gas; and a heat return pipe provided outside the space so as to be in contact with an outer surface of the body, wherein the combustor and the heat exchange portion may be unitarily formed, and the body in which the combustor is formed includes a concave portion protruding concavely inward so as to correspond to a shape of an outer circumferential surface of the heat return pipe.
Smoke tube boiler
The present subject matter relates to a smoke tube boiler including: a mix chamber, a heat exchanger, a firing rod assembly, a sealing means, and an air-cooled cooling means and a water-cooled cooling means.
INNER PIPE FOR LIQUID HEATING APPARATUS, AND LIQUID HEATING APPARATUS AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
The present invention discloses an inner pipe for a liquid heating apparatus, including a hollow pipe body made of a metal or an alloy, where a pipe wall thickness of the pipe body is 0.3-1.0 mm; through a machining method of rolling or pressing, a spiral diversion structure is machined on an inner peripheral wall of the pipe body along an axial direction of the pipe body, so that the spiral division structure is formed to extend along the axial direction of the pipe body. The present invention further discloses a liquid heating apparatus and a manufacturing method therefor. The liquid heating apparatus includes the inner pipe and the outer pipe; a heating assembly is disposed on the outer peripheral wall of the outer pipe.
PTC HEATER
A heating apparatus is disclosed. The heating apparatus comprises a PTC heating element, a first electrode, a second electrode, a first protection layer, a second protection layer, a first interlayer, and a second interlayer. A hardness of the first protection layer is greater than that of the first interlayer. A hardness of the second protection layer is greater than that of the second interlayer.
