Method of automatically cleaning boiler pipes
Disclosed herein is a method of automatically cleaning boiler pipes. The provision of a pipe-cleaning tank on one side of a casing to store a cleaning solution therein and a tank supply valve in the pipe-cleaning tank allows the cleaning solution stored in the pipe-cleaning tank to automatically flow into a heat exchanger and various pipes inside the casing by means of only a simple operation of manipulating the tank supply valve, thereby making it easy to eliminate scale that has accumulated in the heat exchanger and the pipes.
Vehicle system for injecting an aqueous solution in the combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine and method for injecting an aqueous solution in the combustion chamber of the internal combustion
The present invention relates to a heater for a vehicle system for injecting anaqueous solution in an air intake line upstream of a combustion chamber of aninternal combustion engine, or in the combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine, said heater comprising at least one flexible part which comprises at least one metallic resistive track embedded in an insulating material, said insulating material comprising at least one antimicrobial compound and/or being coated by at least one layer containing at least one antimicrobial compound. The invention relates also to a vehicle system for injecting an aqueous solution in an air intake line upstream of a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine, or in the combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine comprising said heater.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR RAPID DRAIN OF WATER HEATER
The present disclosure provides a gas connection assembly for rapid draining of water heaters. The gas connection assembly includes a first channel having a gas inlet connection that connects to a gas supply source, a second channel having a gas outlet connection assembly configured to connect to a water heater, and a third channel coupled to a pressure regulator having a gas relief. The first, second, and third channels are connected such that a gas from the gas supply source comes through the first channel and distributes into the second channel and the third channel.
AUTOMATED WATER HEATER FLUSHING AND MONITORING SYSTEM
An automatically flushing water heater maintenance system may be provided, the system including a water heater and a water heater controller. The water heater may include an inlet, an outlet, and a flush outlet having a first control valve in flow communication therewith. The first control valve may be configured to control a flow of water and sediment through the flush outlet out of the water heater. The water heater controller may be configured to communicate with the first control valve by transmitting a first control signal to the first control valve, the first control signal configured to cause the first control valve to open or close as part of an automatic flushing process. As a result of the flushing, the useful life of the water heater may be extended, and/or water heater leakage alleviated. Insurance discounts may be provided based upon using the automatic water heater flushing functionality.
CYCLONIC INLET AIR FILTER AND FLUID HEATING SYSTEMS AND COMBUSTION BURNERS HAVING THE SAME
A combustion gas supply system and method includes: a cyclonic air filter (or separator), a blower having an inlet and an outlet, and a combustible gas inlet, wherein the cyclonic air filter, the blower, and the combustible gas inlet are in fluid communication.
Door with a built-in burner for a heating appliance
A door with a gas burner on an inner surface and a system for carrying a combustible gas to the burner on the outer surface thereof. The door comprises a pair of metal sheets rigidly connected to one another at the edges thereof, each sheet having input and output openings for the gas mixture that are mutually separated in order to leave an inner space receiving a deflector plate serving as a thermal shield to be swept over on either side by the flow of the gas mixture supplying the burner. This arrangement reduces heat loss through the door; thus, keeping the outer surface cold, avoiding the risk of burns, and preheating the gas mixture. The invention can be used in heating appliances.
TAMPER-PROOF SINGLE PIECE FLUID SEDIMENT TRAP
A tamper-proof fluid sediment trap including a central body portion having a central longitudinal axis, an outlet leg portion, a drip leg portion, and a supply leg portion. The outlet leg portion extends upward from the central body portion parallel to the central longitudinal axis and is configured to operably couple to an appliance. The drip leg portion extends downward from the central body portion and defines a shape being resistant to threading or tapping of an outer surface or an inner surface of the drip leg portion. The supply leg portion is configured to couple to a fluid supply line, extends radially outward from the central body portion, between the outlet leg portion and the drip leg portion, and has a central longitudinal axis extending perpendicular to the central longitudinal axis of the central body portion. The portions of the tamper-proof fluid sediment trap are monolithically formed.
METHOD, COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM AND HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE FOR PERFORMING LIMESCALE DEPOSITION DETECTION BY THERMAL PULSE TECHNOLOGY
A method controls a household appliance being or containing a water heater with regard to limescale deposition. The method includes generating at least one thermal pulse by operation of an electrical heating element of the water heater, and measuring a plurality of successive temperature values. The method further includes determining one or more parameter values of a measurement pattern arising from the plurality of successive temperature values and their respective time of measurement, and ascertaining a limescale deposition state of the water heater based on the determined parameter value. A household appliance contains a computer readable medium having stored thereon instructions configured to trigger, when executed, the household appliance to perform such a method.
Automatic Descaling System
An automated descaling system can be integrated into a tankless water heater or can be a separate system that is connected to a tankless water heater. The automatic descaling system comprises a cleaning media chamber and a valve with a motor. The descaling system can be set on an automatic cleaning schedule.
SYSTEMS FOR WATER DECALCIFICATION
A water decalcification system includes an electroactive polymer (EAP) layer having at least one EAP film, a first electrode contacting the EAP layer and configured to contact a surface of an appliance capable of having at least one interior surface with limescales built up thereon, a second electrode contacting the EAP layer, and an electrical connector configured to connect to an electrical source in electrical communication with the first and the second electrode and configured to apply an electrical voltage to the first and the second electrode. The at least one EAP film deforms in response to the electrical voltage to generate ultrasound vibrational energies transmissive to decalcify the limescales.
