FASTENING SYSTEM FOR FASTENING A CASING TO A TUBE
20230221043 · 2023-07-13 · ·

A system for fastening a casing to a tube which, according to a first aspect of the invention, includes a claw provided with protuberances, and, according to a second aspect of the invention, comprises an incorporation of first rails on side faces of the casing, and second rails on an upper face of the casing to hook onto the protuberances. The claw can pivot with respect to the first protuberances, both to house the tube and to hook onto the second rail, as well as to surround and press against the tube, once the second rail is hooked. The fastening system allows for a faster and more ergonomic fastening without the use of tools and elements such as connecting screws and bolts.

A tile system comprises at least two tiles and at least one elongate support. Each tile is generally rectangular in shape and has a first edge, and a second edge, the second edge being generally opposite the first edge. Each elongate support has an attachment portion and a support portion. Proximate the first edge each tile is provided with a groove, the groove being configured to receive the support portion of one of the elongate supports and a portion of an adjacent tile proximate its second edge.

Tile replacement flashing for use with a tile hook
11536032 · 2022-12-27 ·

A tile replacement flashing is used with a tile hook. A bottom tile replacement flashing is shaped for placement on a lower portion of a location where a tile is removed from a roof. A top tile replacement flashing is shaped for placement on an upper portion of a location where the tile is removed from the roof. The top tile replacement flashing includes an elevated region at a lower portion of the top tile replacement flashing, the elevated region. The bottom tile replacement flashing is shaped so that after attachment of the bottom tile replacement flashing on the roof, the tile hook can be attached to a rafter of the roof, the attached tile hook extending over an upper portion of the bottom tile replacement flashing and having a portion that, past the upper portion of the bottom tile replacement flashing, extends upwards. The top tile replacement flashing is shaped so that after attachment of the top tile replacement flashing on the roof, at least part of the elevated region of the top tile replacement flashing extends over the bottom tile replacement flashing. A height of the elevated region is sufficient to allow room for the tile hook to extend over the bottom tile replacement flashing and under the elevated region of top tile replacement flashing.

Solar module mounting system

A solar module mounting bracket system including a plurality of solar modules including mounting slots formed in a sidewall of the solar module, a torque tube configured to support the solar modules such that they can be rotated, a plurality of mounting brackets configured for integration with the torque tube and to which the plurality of solar modules are mounted, at least one first retainer assembly connected to one of the plurality of mounting brackets, the first retainer assembly including a through bolt, a spring, a mounting tab, and nut. When a solar module is placed on the mounting bracket and supported by the torque tube the mounting tab retainer assembly is received in the mounting slot of the solar module.

A method and a kit for building a protective structure, the method and the kit including supplying a carrying structure, including a plurality of parallel carrying rails; supplying a group of panels, the panels being able to be engaged on and slide on the carrying rails; and transferring the panels from the storage position to a final position bearing on the carrying rails, by transferring at least one of the panels from the storage position to an insertion position on the carrying rails; using a transfer device lifting the at least one panel upward; placing the transferred panels one after the other bearing on the carrying rails; and moving the transferred panels along the carrying rails.

Multi-region solar roofing modules

Building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) systems provide for solar panel arrays that can be aesthetically pleasing to an observer. BIPV systems can be incorporated as part of roof surfaces as built into the structure of the roof, particularly as multi-region roofing modules that have photovoltaic elements embedded or incorporated into the body of the module, in distinct tiles-sized regions. Such multi-region photovoltaic modules can replicate the look of individual roofing tiles or shingles. Further, multi-region photovoltaic modules can include support structures between the distinct regions having a degree of flexibility, allowing for a more efficient installation process.

PILE CAP WITH INTEGRATED BEARING HOUSING

This disclosure relates to the design of pile cap assemblies configured to rotatably couple the torque tube of a photovoltaic solar tracker to multiple support piles that elevate the torque tube above the ground. The pile cap assemblies define low friction bearings that allow the torque tube to rotate smoothly within the low friction bearings. The pile cap assemblies also include numerous mounting hole configurations that allow for adjustment of a position of the pile cap assemblies with respect to the support piles. This allows for any small variation in positioning of the support piles to be accommodated.

Module attachment apparatus and method

Exemplary systems and methods described herein can be used to secure a rail to a module or the rail to a support using a nut that can be inserted at a desired point of mounting. Another exemplary system describes a flashing to be inserted under a roof shingle, wherein the flashing is secured to a support for a rail or module. Yet another exemplary system describes a clamp that secures a rail or module and is adjustable along the length of a post. Spacers can be added to the post to extend the adjustment range of the clamp.

HOLDING DEVICE FOR A SOLAR PANEL ON A PARAPET OF A BALCONY

The invention relates to a holding device (1) for a solar panel (2) on a parapet (3) of a balcony, said device having at least the following components: —a connection arrangement (4) for connecting an element to be held, wherein the connection arrangement has at least one support (5, 6, 7, 8) for placing on a parapet; and —at least one transverse strut (9, 10) for bridging a parapet width, wherein the at least one transverse strut is connected to the connection arrangement and has at least one flange (12, 13) for placing on a parapet, wherein by means of a movement of the at least one flange towards the connection arrangement, the at least one flange and the at least one support press in opposite directions against the parapet. The invention disclosed relates to a holding device which allows for greater flexibility with regard to the structure of a balcony parapet.
