SOLAR PANEL ASSEMBLY
A support structure for solar panels including a frame having a base plate for abutment on a receiving surface, the base plate extending laterally between a first lateral end and a second lateral end; a first supporting plate projecting from the base plate at the first lateral end thereof; a second supporting plate projecting from the base plate at the second lateral end thereof; a first hook-shaped body secured to the first supporting plate for supporting at least one first solar panel; and a second hook-shaped body secured to the second supporting plate for supporting at least one second solar panel.
Flashing and L-bracket assembly for rack mounting of solar panels on roof
The invention herein disclosed and claimed is an L-bracket and flashing assembly used to mount a rack for supporting a solar-panel array. It uses fewer sub-assemblies and is simpler and faster to install than prior art L-bracket and flashing assemblies.
SOLAR ENERGY COLLECTOR SYSTEM
A solar energy collector includes an energy dissipating receiver configured to absorb solar energy, an absorption tube that encourages a transfer of heat from the energy dissipating receiver, a base including a groove that receives at least a portion of the absorption tube and supports the absorption tube, and a header that is positioned at least partially within an end of the absorption tube. The absorption tube includes a curved portion and a flat portion. The flat portion faces the energy dissipating receiver.
Purlin construction and clip for flat panel roof structures
Solar panels are coupled to elongated purlins by solar panel clamps. A single strip of sheet metal is folded to form a first mounting portion, a second mounting portion opposed to the first mounting portion, and a first section of an upright wall extending perpendicularly therebetween. A first and second mounting shelves extend perpendicularly from the first section of the upright wall. A second section of the upright wall extends perpendicularly from between the first and second mounting shelves. A plurality of solar panel clamps affix the plurality of solar panels to the mounting shelves of the elongated purlins.

Support assembly for supporting a solar panel
A support assembly supports a solar panel. The support assembly includes a first support portion including a first base wall. A first lateral wall is attached to the first base wall and includes a first attachment structure. A second support portion is attached to the first support portion such that the first support portion and the second support portion support the solar panel. The second support portion includes a second base wall. The second base wall is attached to the first base wall of the first support portion. A first attachment wall is attached to the second base wall. The first attachment wall defines a first attachment opening into which the first attachment structure of the first lateral wall is received such that the first attachment wall is attached to the first lateral wall. A method of forming a support assembly for supporting a solar panel is provided.
Wear reduction system for rooftop mounts
A building rooftop mounting structure including a sacrificial material that allows freedom of movement between itself and the rooftop as well as between itself and the mounting structure.
ABSORBER SYSTEM
An absorber system solves problems of known absorber systems for use in solar fields in that the absorber tube is suspended on a rail below an absorber cover. The design also makes it possible to move measuring and cleaning robots and the like along the absorber tube more and allows the absorber tube and the secondary reflector to be jointly suspended, whereby an exact mutual alignment between the two components is enabled.

Mounting assembly for mounting a solar panel
A mounting assembly for mounting a solar panel to a surface includes a mounting base that is supported on the surface. The mounting base defines an elongated opening that extends along an axis. A module mount can be coupled to the mounting base. The module mount includes a first mount portion that is received within the elongated opening of the mounting base such that the module mount is movable with respect to the mounting base along the axis. A second mount portion is coupled to the solar panel for mounting the solar panel to the surface through the mounting base.
