Portable active temperature controlled container comprising a cool sink
An active temperature controlled container is configured to be portable so as to safely transport temperature sensitive and perishable goods (such as biological material): within a vessel that is thermally coupled to a thermoelectric assembly disposed within the container, where the thermal engine is powered by a power source, such as a battery. The thermoelectric assembly may include one or more resistors coupled to a resistor spacer block to act as a cool sink by actively and passively increasing the efficiency of the thermoelectric assembly.
Clothes-handling apparatus
The present invention relates to a clothes-handing apparatus comprising: a cabinet having a holder opening provided at an upper panel; an air moving part provided inside the cabinet so as to generate an air flow; a holder which is withdrawable from the cabinet through the holder opening and on which clothes are hung; and holder air holes provided at the holder so as to supply air to the clothes hung on the holder.
Liquid dispenser for animals
A pet water dispenser may include a water tank to store water and an inner assembly detachably coupled to the water tank and provided inside the water tank. The inner assembly may include a pump. A bottom plate of the water tank may be formed with a protrusion projecting upward, while the inner assembly may include a support cylinder having a cavity or recess that is inserted onto the protrusion. The support cylinder may include an upper surface and a sidewall to define the cavity or recess. The inner assembly may further include a filter coupled to the support cylinder.
Eco-friendly temperature system
The present disclosure is related to thermoelectric panels and their use in cooling and heating systems. The cooling/heating systems may include a plurality of thermoelectric panels. The panels may include thermoelectric devices embedded between a housing formed by heat conductive layers and edge structures for preserve a low thermal conductivity volume.
THERMOELECTRIC HEAT EXCHANGER FOR AN HVAC SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates to a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system having a heat exchanger configured to thermally regulate a supply air flow, where the heat exchanger includes a thermoelectric device, a first plurality of fins coupled to the thermoelectric device, and a second plurality of fins coupled to the thermoelectric device. The first plurality of fins extend into a supply air flow path of the supply air flow to transfer thermal energy between the thermoelectric device and the supply air flow and the second plurality of fins convectively transfer thermal energy between the thermoelectric device and a working fluid exterior the supply air flow path.
Heat pump device and assembly
A heat pump that includes a thermoelectric device(s) and a heat sink having a raised portion with a top surface for thermally coupling with a planar face of the thermoelectric device(s). The raised portion of the heat sink includes an outer periphery and a raised central region surrounded by a void region to provide more uniform thermal conductivity when clamped within an assembly. The raised central region is shaped in an any shape corresponding to a shape of uneven thermal conductivity due to clamping pressure applied to the heat sink. The void region can be substantially contiguous and entirely circumscribe the central raised region. The device can optionally include discrete supports formed of a less thermally-conductive material within the void region. The supports can be elastomeric, such as O-rings, and disposed within pockets defined within the void region.
TEMPERATURE-ADJUSTABLE TUMBLER
Provided is a tumbler capable of controlling a temperature of an accommodated drink. The tumbler includes an inner cup for accommodating a drink, a frame which protects the inner cup, a heat conduction unit of which heat is exchanged with the inner cup through a lower surface and an outer circumferential surface of the inner cup to cool or heat the drink of the inner cup, and a control unit configured to control operation of the heat conduction unit. The thermal efficiency and ease of use of the tumbler are improved due to the configuration of the tumbler.
Compressor chiller systems including thermoelectric modules, and corresponding control methods
According to various aspects, exemplary embodiments are disclosed of chiller systems including thermoelectric modules, and corresponding control methods. In an exemplary embodiment, a compressor chiller system generally includes a refrigerant loop having a refrigerant fluid, a compressor connected in the refrigerant loop to compress the refrigerant fluid, and a condenser connected in the refrigerant loop to receive the compressed refrigerant fluid from the compressor and to condense the compressed refrigerant fluid. The system also includes a heat transfer component connected in the refrigerant loop to receive the condensed refrigerant fluid from the condenser, and a coolant loop having a coolant fluid. The heat transfer component is connected in the coolant loop to transfer heat from the coolant fluid to the condensed refrigerant fluid. The system further includes a thermoelectric module connected in the coolant loop. The thermoelectric module is adapted to transfer heat into and/or out of the coolant fluid.
