Method and a system for preventing a freeze event using refrigerant temperature
A method includes measuring a saturated suction temperature, receiving actual temperature value reflective of the measured saturated suction temperature, and determining whether the actual temperature value is less than a first pre-determined minimum threshold temperature value. If the actual temperature value is less than the first pre-determined minimum threshold temperature value, initiating a timer to operate for a pre-determined time interval. Determining whether the actual temperature value is less than a second pre-determined minimum threshold temperature value and if the actual temperature value is less the second pre-determined minimum threshold temperature value, initiating the timer to operate for a modified time interval. If the timer has expired, the operation of the compressor is modified.

Method for suppressing the blockage of miniature Joule-Thomson cryocooler based on photothermal effect
A method for suppressing the blockage of a miniature Joule-Thomson cryocooler based on a photothermal effect includes: determining form and temperature of a trace impurity contained in a working medium of the cryocooler according to an operating condition of the cryocooler, and selecting an optimal wavelength of an electromagnetic wave based on the form and temperature of the impurity and a peak of absorption spectrum of the impurity to electromagnetic waves; estimating, via a prediction model of input power of the electromagnetic wave, an initial value of input power corresponding to the optimal wavelength; and emitting an electromagnetic wave with the power W by a laser capable of generating the optimal wavelength in a direction perpendicular to a passage of a throttle in the cryocooler to eliminate the impurity in the passage of the throttle.
Method for terminating defrosting of an evaporator by use of air temperature measurements
A method for terminating defrosting of an evaporator (104) is disclosed. The evaporator (104) is part of a vapour compression system (100). The vapour compression system (100) further comprises a compressor unit (101), a heat rejecting heat exchanger (102), and an expansion device (103). The compressor unit (101), the heat rejecting heat exchanger (102), the expansion device (103) and the evaporator (104) are arranged in a refrigerant path, and an air flow is flowing across the evaporator (104). When ice is accumulated on the evaporator (104), the vapour compression system (100) operates in a defrosting mode. At least one temperature sensor (305) monitors a temperature T.sub.air, of air leaving the evaporator (104). A rate of change of T.sub.air is monitored and defrosting is terminated when the rate of change of the temperature, T.sub.air, approaches zero.

AN EVAPORATOR FOR ENVIRONMENTAL TEST CHAMBER
An evaporator for environmental test chamber includes a plate-type fin and plurality of pipelines wherein: the pipelines are divided into three types: refrigerating pipelines, dehumidifying pipelines and defrosting pipelines; the refrigerating pipelines are arranged alternately one by one, more by more, and one by more with the dehumidifying pipelines in transverse direction of a plate surface of the plate-type fin; refrigerating pipelines receive a refrigerating refrigerant supplied from a refrigerating-system, the dehumidifying pipelines receive dehumidifying refrigerant supplied from a dehumidifying-system, and defrosting pipelines receive hot air discharged from the dehumidifying-system compressor exhaust hole. The evaporator is simultaneously used for refrigerating and dehumidifying, and refrigerating and dehumidifying share the evaporator's whole evaporation area, and at least one evaporator pipeline is remained to serve as the defrosting pipelines, guiding the hot air output from the compressor of the dehumidifying-system to the evaporator to heat the evaporator surface to achieve the defrosting effect.
