Transcritical R744 refrigeration system for skating rinks with total condensation and without flash-gas bypass
A transcritical R-744 refrigeration system, especially used for refrigerating a skating rink, has a heat exchanger between the gas cooler followed by a throttling device and the flash tank (or receiver), in order to eliminate the need of a flash-gas bypass. The heat exchanger connects to an external mechanical refrigeration system operating at a higher evaporating temperature than the transcritical R-744 refrigeration system, and generally totally condenses the vapor of the R-744 refrigerant before it reaches the flask tank. A method for improving the energy efficiency of the transcritical R-744 refrigeration system is also disclosed.
CONDENSER WITH INTEGRATED RECEIVER
A receiver includes a large diameter main body portion, and an intermediate member side small diameter portion. A wall thickness of the intermediate member side small diameter portion is smaller than a wall thickness of the main body portion. As a result, heat capacity of the intermediate member side small diameter portion is reduced. As a result, it is possible to complete brazing between the intermediate member side small diameter portion and the intermediate member, at the same time as brazing among tanks, tubes, and fins. A desiccant enclosed in a flexible bag can be taken in and out through the intermediate member side small diameter portion.
HERMETICALLY SEALED CAP FOR HEAT EXCHANGER MODULATOR
A receiver drier assembly for an automotive heat exchanger is provided with a single-piece cap. In embodiments described herein, a modulator has a tubular wall and one or more openings are formed therein. The cap is a single-piece cap and is configured to attach directly to the tubular wall via a snap fit. The cap may have a protrusion that is configured to snap into engagement with the opening in the modulator when properly assembled. The protrusion may be tapered such that as the cap is assembled to the modulator, the protrusion is forced radially inwardly via the tapered surface sliding along the tubular wall. Once the protrusion meets the opening, the protrusion is allowed to flex radially outward toward its natural unbiased position, snap fitting with the opening of the tubular wall.

The receiver dryer includes a filter cartridge including a first mating portion, a second mating portion, and a filter part at a middle portion; the first mating portion fits with an inner wall of the second body, one space allowing refrigerant to flow is formed between the filter part and the inner wall of the second body, the second mating portion is connected to the second connecting port, the space between the filter part and the inner wall of the second body communicates with the first connecting port, an inside of the filter part communicates with the second connecting port via the second mating portion, and refrigerant is filtered at least once when flowing between the first and second connecting ports.

A liquid reservoir, a method for manufacturing the liquid reservoir, and a compressor having the liquid reservoir are disclosed. The liquid reservoir has a barrel, an air inlet tube, an air outlet tube, and a valve. The valve has a partition plate arranged in the barrel. An outer periphery of the partition plate is coupled to an inner peripheral wall of the barrel to divide the internal space of the barrel into an air inlet chamber and an air outlet chamber. The partition plate has a valve hole communicating the air inlet chamber with the air outlet chamber. A limit plate is arranged in the air outlet chamber and at least partially spaced apart from the partition plate. An outer periphery of the limit plate is coupled to the inner peripheral wall of the barrel. The limit plate has a connection hole and a guide hole.
