VALVE AND CAPILLARY TUBE SYSTEM FOR REFRIGERATION SYSTEMS
A refrigeration system includes an evaporator, a condenser, a compressor, a capillary tube, and an expansion device. The compressor is configured to circulate a refrigerant between the evaporator and the condenser. The capillary tube is configured to receive the refrigerant from the condenser. The expansion device is configured to receive the refrigerant from the capillary tube and provide the refrigerant to the evaporator. The expansion device is adjustable to control a flow of the refrigerant through the capillary tube.
TEMPERATURE REGULATING APPARATUS AND METHODS OF USING SAME
A temperature regulating apparatus can comprise a housing, an intake fan, an outlet fan, and one or more canisters containing a pressurized cooling gas, such as carbon dioxide, freon, nitrogen, difluoroethane, trifluoroethane, or tetrafluoroethane, positioned within the housing. The inlet fan draws warm air from outside of the housing into the housing through vent openings formed in the housing. Cooling gas is released from the cannisters when a temperature sensing device detects the ambient temperature is above a predetermined desired temperature, and the outlet fan blows cooled air out of the housing through the vent openings, whereby the ambient temperature outside of the housing can be cooled to the predetermined desired temperature.

The electronic expansion valve includes a valve core assembly, an electronic control part and a stator assembly. The valve core assembly includes a valve base, a valve core and a rotor assembly, wherein the valve base is provided with a valve port, and the valve core moves relative to the valve base to change the degree of opening of the valve port. The electronic control part controls the stator assembly, and the rotor assembly drives the valve core to move. The electronic expansion valve further includes a sensor, the electronic control part includes an electronic control board, and the stator assembly and the sensor are both directly electrically connected to the electronic control board. The thermal management assembly and the cooling system both include the electronic expansion valve.
Electronic expansion valve and superheat control in an HVAC system
An EXV (electronic expansion valve) control system includes an EXV controller for controlling an EXV within the refrigerant loop of an HVAC system. The EXV controller implements a master control algorithm that includes a plurality of sub-control algorithms and an initial series of branching decision points to determine the current mode of operation and to execute select sub-control algorithms corresponding to the current mode of operation, while not executing the sub-control algorithms corresponding to the other modes of operation. The sub-control algorithms implement various combinations of PID (Proportional Integral Derivative) control and feed-forward control, the results of which can be mapped to specific control instructions for the EXV.
