An ice dispenser includes an ice chute, an ice maker chute plate, and a vent wall. The ice chute is mounted adjacent an ice dispenser window and is configured to receive ice when the ice is pushed through the ice dispenser window. The ice maker chute plate includes an ice chute aperture wall configured to receive and to dispense the ice from the ice chute. The ice chute is mounted to extend from the ice maker chute plate. The vent wall is mounted to the ice maker chute plate. The vent wall includes an aperture wall through which air from a cooling system is received onto the ice chute when the cooling system is operated.

A refrigerator utilizes in some instances an icemaker having a tandem arrangement of storage bins. A first storage bin receives ice produced by an icemaker and includes a reversible ice mover that when operated in a first direction feeds an ice dispenser, and when operated in a second direction feeds a second storage bin disposed below the first storage bin. A refrigerator may also in another aspect include an externally-accessible ice dispenser having a dispenser recess portion that is removable from the refrigerator when the doors of the refrigerator are closed, e.g., for the purpose of accessing an ice storage bin.

A refrigerator includes a main body, a door rotatably coupled to the main body, and an ice making chamber provided in the door and into which the ice maker is assembled. The ice making chamber includes an ice making chamber wall and an ice making space having an open front surface, and the ice making chamber wall includes a guide rib protruding toward the ice making space. The ice maker includes an ice making tray having an ice making cell for storing water, an ejector rotatable to separate ice from the ice making cell, and a motor box coupled to one side of the ice making tray in a longitudinal direction to accommodate an ice separation motor for rotating the ejector. The ice making tray is supported on the guide rib, and the motor box and the ice making chamber wall is fastened through a fastening member.

The driving member is connected to the ice pushing component (12). The blades (1212) of the ice pushing component (12) are configured to crush the ice cubes selectively based on a preset condition that is forward rotation or reverse rotation. The plurality of blades (1212) push the ice towards the ice outlet (b).

The cam on the non-vertical auger may actuate the kick plate.

The ice bucket may further define an outlet opening having a first portion in fluid communication with the first chamber and a second portion in fluid communication with the second chamber. The shutter may be disposed at the outlet opening and movable between a first position and a second position. The first position may include the shutter covering the second portion and spaced apart from the first portion. The second position may include the shutter covering the first portion and spaced apart from the second portion.

A supply unit installed on the body to store and drop beer. A pulverizing unit is plate shaped and an end thereof is adjacent to the ice-making unit. Beer is supplied from the supply unit to the storage space. The ice-making unit is rotated to contact the beer and form a beer ice layer thereon. The pulverizing unit separates the beer ice layer from the ice-making unit.
