REFRIGERATOR HAVING DOOR WITH WEIGHT-SENSITIVE STORAGE AREA AND METHOD OF MANAGING ITEMS STORED IN WEIGHT-SENSITIVE STORAGE AREA
Provided is a refrigerator including a door, a door shelf provided on the door and including a weight-sensitive storage area for sensing a weight of an item, a weight transmission device installed on the door shelf and configured to transmit information about the sensed weight, a user interface including a display and an inputter, and a processor configured to manage item information, based on the information about the sensed weight received from the weight transmission device, and control the display to display management information about the item.
REFRIGERATOR APPLIANCE WITH IMPROVED STORAGE
A refrigerator appliance includes a cabinet. The cabinet defines a food storage chamber therein. A door is rotatably mounted to the cabinet. The refrigerator appliance also includes a food storage unit. The food storage unit includes a rigid structural frame surrounding a flexible element. The flexible element is deformable and movable relative to the rigid structural frame.
Beverage Holder
A holder for storing a beverage container in an upright orientation. The beverage holder includes a base with a perimeter and a sidewall extending upwards from the base defining an interior volume with an open upper end. The interior volume can receive a beverage container therein such as a two-liter soda bottle. A bracket disposed on the sidewall of the beverage holder can secure the beverage holder to a shelf of a refrigerator to prevent the beverage container from falling over when the door is opened. The beverage holder can be removed from the shelf and replaced back thereon as desired.
Refrigerator
A refrigerator includes a cabinet including a refrigerating compartment and an evaporation chamber, a first door, a housing in the first door, an ice making room defining a cool air inflow hole and a cool air discharge hole, a chiller room defining a cool air discharge hole, a second door connected to the first door, a partition wall defining the ice making room, the chiller room, and a communication hole, a damper opening and closing the communication hole, a cool air supply duct connecting an outlet of the evaporation chamber and the cool air inflow hole to supply cool air of the evaporation chamber to the ice making room, and a cool air return duct having a first inlet connected to the cool air discharge hole of the ice making chamber and a second inlet connected to the cool air discharge hole of the chiller room.

CLEAR ICE MAKING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A method of making clear ice includes circulating a refrigerant through a refrigerant loop. A portion of the refrigerant loop is in contact with a mold body. Thus, the refrigerant chills the mold body. The method also includes spraying a first volume of liquid water into a mold cavity of the mold body. As a result, a first volume of ice is formed in the mold cavity. The method also includes spraying a second volume of liquid water into the mold cavity after the first volume of ice has formed. Thus, a portion of the first volume of ice is melted and a second volume of ice is formed in mold cavity. The clear ice includes an unmelted portion of the first volume of ice and the second volume of ice.
REFRIGERATING AND FREEZING DEVICE
Provided is a refrigerating and freezing device, comprising a door body with a third cable passing port, a door body side cable, a clip assembly and a pre-embedded member with a first cable passing port. The clip assembly comprises an installation and storage component with a second cable passing port, and clips, a chip, an antenna board and a control board arranged in the installation and storage component. The control board is connected to a control side cable connected to a second terminal. The door body side cable connected to a first terminal passes through the first cable passing port. The control side cable connected to the second terminal passes in sequence through the second cable passing port and the third cable passing port, and is then connected to the first terminal at the first cable passing port.
Ice making system for a refrigerator appliance
A refrigerator appliance includes walls, a door, an ice container, a magnet, and a sensor. The walls define an internal storage chamber. The door has an outer panel and a door liner disposed between the outer panel and the internal storage chamber. The door liner defines a receptacle. The ice container is removably positioned within the receptacle. The magnet is secured to the ice container. The sensor is disposed between the outer panel and the door liner. The sensor is configured to align with and detect a presence of the magnet through the door liner and to detect an absence of the magnet. The presence of the magnet is indicative that the ice container is positioned within the receptacle. The absence of the magnet is indicative that the ice container is not positioned within the receptacle.
REFRIGERATOR AND TRANSPARENT PANEL ASSEMBLY FOR REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator includes a transparent panel assembly. The transparent panel assembly includes a front panel defining at least a part of a front appearance of a refrigerator door and made of a glass material, a rear panel defining at least a part of a rear appearance of the refrigerator door and made of a transparent material, and an intermediate member connected between the front panel and the rear panel and made of a transparent plastic member. The intermediate member includes an edge portion having both ends connected to a screening area formed at peripheries of the front panel and the rear panel, and a partition portion formed to cross an inner surface of the edge portion to partition a gap between the front panel and the rear panel to thereby form a sealed insulation layer.
