Beverage containers and coolants therefore
The device includes a container (10) having a top (12) and a bottom (14). A receptacle (15) is formed in the container and joined to an orifice (22) at the bottom (14). A cooling medium (26) is contained within the receptacle and able to retain a cooling environment to cool the beverage. In one embodiment, a beverage container has an opening (72) that permits the emptying of the beverage from the container and a coolant capsule (73) within said container. The cooling capsule (73) contains a cooling medium and the capsule is dimensioned such that the capsule is larger than the opening (72) but has surface characteristics (77,78) which permit the beverage within the container to bypass the capsule (73) and to exit the opening.
Thermal energy storage member and storage container using the same, and refrigerator using the same
It is an object of the present invention to provide a thermal energy storage member having sufficient dissipation capabilities and a storage container using the same, and a refrigerator using the same. A thermal energy storage member 1 includes: a thin-plate outer shape having an opposing upper face 1a and lower face 1b; a thermal energy storage material 3 filled in the inside of a package material 2; and a thermal conduction amount adjusting portion 4 that, in a case where difference occurs between temperature at the upper face 1a side and temperature at the lower face 1b side, reduces difference in thermal conduction amount per unit of time at the upper face 1a and the lower face 1b.
INSULATED SHIPPING CONTAINER SYSTEMS, KITS AND METHODS
Shipping container systems are provided for shipping a temperature sensitive product or payload. The systems include at least one heat transfer element and a payload container configured to hold payload therein and configured to be positioned within a shipping container; the payload container being spaced from sidewalls of the shipping container. Also included are spacers that may space the payload container from one or more of the heat transfer elements, or the spacers may space the heat transfer elements from an inside surface of the shipping container, or the spacers space multiple heat transfer elements from one another. The spacers are configured to allow air to flow over surfaces of the payload container and heat transfer elements. Also included are kits that include components of the system and methods of packing a shipping container with the system and/or kit components. Further provided are products that include any one or more of the described elements, such as the unique shuttle horizontal spacers provided herein; and fully assembled shipping containers.

Insulated shipping container having at least one spacer for improving airflow within the container
Shipping container systems are provided for shipping a temperature sensitive product or payload. The systems include at least one heat transfer element and a payload container configured to hold payload therein and configured to be positioned within a shipping container; the payload container being spaced from sidewalls of the shipping container. Also included are spacers that may for example, space the payload container from one or more of the heat transfer elements. The spacers are configured to allow air to flow over surfaces of the payload container and heat transfer elements. Also included are kits that include components of the system and methods. Further provided are products that include any one or more of the described elements; and fully assembled shipping containers.
