Refrigerator including a drawer supporter having a cold air discharge port

A refrigerator may include a body formed with a storage space and a cooling module accommodating space; a cooling module disposed in the cooling module accommodating space and having a heat absorption part and a heat radiating part; a drawer supporter disposed inside the storage space; and a drawer supported by the drawer supporter, and the drawer supporter is formed with an inner passage through which cold air flowing from the heat absorption part passes, and the drawer supporter is formed with a plurality of cold air discharge ports through which cold air of the inner passage is discharged in an opposite direction. Therefore, it is possible to maximize the depth of the storage space in the front-rear direction while minimizing the number of parts, and cool the entire storage space evenly.

A domestic refrigerator (1) comprises a thermally insulated housing (2), a cold storage compartment (5) and a fresh food compartment (4) contained within the housing (2) and located on top of each other, a refrigerant circuit which comprises an evaporator (29) configured to directly cool the cold storage compartment (5), a first door leaf (18) for closing and opening the fresh food compartment (4), a second door leaf (19) for closing and opening the cold storage compartment (5), a divisional wall (17, 42) separating the cold storage compartment (5) from the fresh food compartment (5), and a air channel system (31, 32) which is configured to allow an air exchange between the cold storage compartment (5) and the fresh food compartment (4).

Air duct assembly and air cooling refrigerator having same

An air duct assembly is provided that is configured to supply air to a compartment and including: an outer cover housing, configured to be fixed to an outer side of a compartment wall defining the compartment, an external accommodating cavity being defined inside the outer cover housing; an inner cover housing, configured to be disposed opposite to the outer cover housing on an inner side of the compartment wall, an internal accommodating cavity being defined inside the inner cover housing. An air inlet is formed in the outer cover housing, so as to allow external air to enter the external accommodating cavity via the air inlet. A vent is formed in the compartment wall, so that the external accommodating cavity communicates with the internal accommodating cavity. An air outlet is formed in the inner cover housing, so as to supply the air in the internal accommodating cavity to the inside of the compartment.

Refrigerator

A refrigerator includes an evaporator arranged in a heat exchange chamber and having refrigerant pipes through which refrigerant flows and fins configured to guide heat exchange between the refrigerant and cold air, wherein the evaporator includes a first and a second side spaced apart from each other, and the fins of the evaporator guide flow of air such that the cold air introduce into the first and second sides is combined with each other in the space between the first and second sides.

Augmented door bin cooling using a dedicated air duct in a dual-evaporator refrigerator configuration

A refrigerator includes a fresh food compartment and a mullion adjacent the fresh food compartment. The refrigerator further includes an evaporator compartment defining an exterior and an interior and containing an evaporator. The refrigerator also includes a duct in fluid communication with the evaporator compartment at a first end thereof and in communication with a second end adjacent an opening of the fresh food compartment. The duct has a first portion thereof that extends downwardly from the first end and a second portion extending through the mullion.

Refrigerator

A refrigerator having a cool air circulation unit for directly supplying heat-exchanged cool air to a storage compartment is disclosed. The cool air circulation unit supplies and discharges the cool air, which has been heat-exchanged in an evaporator, to and from the storage compartment through a flow passage provided inside a partition.

A refrigerator includes a cabinet, a first door, a second door, a partition wall, and a pressure relief valve. The cabinet defines first and second internal storage chambers. The first and second doors are disposed over the first and second internal storage chambers, respectively. The first and second doors are configured to transition between open and closed positions to provide access to and cover the first and second internal storage chambers, respectively. The partition wall separates the first internal storage chamber from the second internal storage chamber. The partition wall defines a channel that establishes fluid communication between the first and second internal storage chambers. The pressure relief valve extends between the first internal storage chamber and an exterior of the cabinet. The pressure relief valve is configured to open to vent air from the first internal storage chamber to the exterior of the cabinet.
