REFRIGERATOR APPLIANCE WITH IMPROVED STORAGE
A refrigerator appliance includes a cabinet. The cabinet defines a food storage chamber therein. A door is rotatably mounted to the cabinet. The refrigerator appliance also includes a food storage unit. The food storage unit includes a rigid structural frame surrounding a flexible element. The flexible element is deformable and movable relative to the rigid structural frame.
Shelf assembly for an appliance
A shelf assembly for an appliance includes a shelf support operably coupled with a cabinet liner. First and second supports are positioned below the shelf support. The first and second supports are positioned on opposing sidewalls of the cabinet liner. A rear shelf portion is slidably supported on the shelf support between rearward and forward positions. A front shelf portion is positioned adjacent to the rear shelf portion and is movable between a raised position and a lowered position. A plurality of rotatable arms are configured to support the front shelf portion. Each rotatable arm of the plurality of rotatable arms is operably coupled with one of the first and second supports at a first end and is further operably coupled with the front shelf portion at a second end. A connecting arm interconnects the rear shelf portion and the front shelf portion.
Storage structure for refrigerator appliance
A cover is provided for a storage bin of a refrigerator. The cover includes a panel and a communication portion. The panel has an upper surface for storing food items thereon that is substantially planar and substantially horizontal. Moreover, the panel separates an upper space located above the panel from a lower space located below the panel. The communication portion is configured to provide fluid communication between the upper and lower spaces. In particular, the communication portion includes an upward-facing recessed surface, one or more side wall portions that extend above and at least partially bound the recessed surface, and a plurality of apertures that extend through the recessed surface and provide fluid communication between the upper space and lower space. The recessed surface and the one or more side wall portions collectively define a recess. Optionally, a wine rack is provided.
Refrigerator
A refrigerator may include a cabinet, a drawer, a driving part, a cable tray, and a rack gear assembly. Connecting members of the cable tray may be maintained in an anti-sagging state by a tray guide part, so that friction noise generated during moving of the cable tray is prevented and interference with the cable tray during moving of the drawer is prevented.
Support assembly for an appliance
A support assembly includes a support surface configured to selectively transition between a stowed position, a deployed position, and an intermediate position defined between the stowed position and the deployed position. A retention feature is operably coupled to the support surface and is configured to transition the support surface between the stowed position and the deployed position. The retention feature includes a projection about which the support surface pivots to define a pivot axis. A bracket is coupled to the support surface and is configured to distribute a load along the support assembly in the intermediate position and the deployed position.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator includes a cabinet that defines a storage chamber, and a drawer door configured to be inserted into and withdrawn out of the storage chamber. The drawer door includes a drawer part that defines a storage space and a door part configured to open and close the storage chamber based on the drawer door being inserted into and withdrawn out of the storage chamber. An electric device is provided in the door part, and a wiring extends from the cabinet to the drawer door. A wiring guider extends from the cabinet to the drawer door and provides a passageway for the wiring. The wiring guider includes a first linear section connected to the drawer door, a second linear section connected to the cabinet, and a bent section between the first linear section and the second linear section.
REFRIGERATOR AND SHELVING SYSTEM FOR A REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator shelving system includes an upper shelf, suspenders, rails, and a lower shelf. The upper shelf has nests disposed along a bottom side of the upper shelf. The suspenders are rotatably secured to the upper shelf. The rails are suspended from the upper shelf via the suspenders. The lower shelf is slidably secured to the rails and has bosses extending laterally outward therefrom. Each of the bosses are configured to engage one of the nests to maintain the lower shelf in a stowed position. The lower shelf is configured to slide forward from the stowed position to an intermediate position via the rails to disengage the bosses from the nests. The lower shelf is configured to rotate downward and rearward via the suspenders to transition from the intermediate position to an operational position.
REVERSIBLE DRAWER ASSEMBLY
A refrigerator appliance includes a storage compartment having a storage drawer assembly disposed therein. The storage drawer assembly includes a carrier drawer, a lid, and a bin that may be reversibly mounted in the carrier drawer in either a first orientation or in a second orientation. The bin defines a storage space for receiving food items. The bin includes a sealing wall that encloses the storage space in the first orientation. The bin defines an access opening that grants access to the storage space in the second orientation.
Refrigerator and storage system for a refrigerator
A refrigerator drawer includes a front wall, a rear wall, first and second opposing sides walls, an adjustable partition wall, and first and second rollers. The front and rear walls define first and second slots, respectively. The first and second opposing sides walls each extend between the front and rear walls such that the front, rear wall, and side walls define an internal storage space. The partition wall is disposed within the storage space. The partition wall has first and second ends extending outward and through the first and second slots, respectively. The first and second rollers are attached to the first and second ends on opposing sides of the front and rear walls, respectively. The first and second rollers are configured to roll along exterior surfaces of the front wall and rear wall, respectively, to adjust distances between the partition wall and the side walls.
Refrigerator
A refrigerator includes a rack gear assembly provided on a lower surface of a drawer, wherein the rack gear assembly has a first rack member and a second rack member sequentially moved forward such that an opening distance of the drawer is maximized, and a wing end of the second rack member and a blocking part of a bottom of a storage chamber are provided such that exact engagement of a rack gear with a pinion is maintained during opening of the drawer. In addition, while the drawer is opened, an unwanted movement of the drawer in a closing direction thereof is prevented.
