A thermally insulated structure for shipping goods, the structure including an insulated box having a goods receptacle and a phase change material module receptacle. The structure further including a phase change material module, and a set of vacuum panels configured to form an encapsulating layer around the insulated box.

This invention relates to a novel kit, transportable apparatus and method for generating in-situ CO2 snow block within the apparatus. An item such as a biological sample can be stored and transported within the same apparatus that is employed for creating the CO2 snow block. The apparatus is capable of preserving the sample during transport. The invention also includes a specially designed CO2 snow charger system including a charger and meshed conduit. The charger system is operated in accordance with the methods of the present invention to create the in-situ CO2 snow block within a container that can be also used for transport.

A method comprises performing an analysis of airflow and temperature distribution in an indoor environment utilizing a hybrid turbulence model including a Chen-Xu model used for analysis of bulk flow and a wall function used in first grid cells bounding solid objects in the indoor environment and adjusting physical layout and/or operating parameters of heat producing electrical equipment and/or a cooling system of the indoor environment responsive to results of the analysis to improve one of temperature distribution within the indoor environment and operating efficiency of the cooling system of the indoor environment.

A refrigerated cargo container includes multiple exterior walls defining an exterior volume. Each of the exterior walls is thermally insulating. The container also includes multiple interior walls that define an interior volume within exterior walls. Each of the interior walls is thermally conductive. At least one fluid circuit is disposed between the plurality of exterior walls and the plurality of interior walls. The at least one fluid circuit including an inlet and an outlet and are configured to contain a super cooled fluid.

A method of packing a temperature sensitive product utilizes a temperature controlled product shipper that includes a phase change material bladder which can be filled with a preconditioned brined-slurry PCM at the point of packaging. The temperature sensitive product is contained within a product box or master case, which is in turn packed inside an insulated liner and an outer box. The PCM bladder fits between the master case and the insulated liner and is filled with the preconditioned flowable PCM at the point of packing just before closing the box for shipment.

The table top cooler stores food and beverage items in a cool condition. Product transport containers are disclosed. Such containers can provide one or more advantages compared to existing containers. For example, product transport containers described herein can maintain a product at a desired temperature for an extended period of time, including without the use of an active heating or cooling component. Such product transport containers described herein may also provide improved breathability, thermal insulation, and/or mechanical strength or dimensional stability. Such containers can include a plurality of walls defining an interior volume and a selectively openable side permitting movement of the product into and out of the interior volume of the container. The walls can be formed from a thermoformed non-woven fabric.

An insulated cooler with a submersible internal circulating pump is provided. The insulated cooler includes a base, a plurality of sidewalls extending upwardly therefrom, and an open upper end defining an interior volume. The insulated cooler further includes a lid that is removably secured over the open upper end, wherein the lid includes multiple recessed cup holders with sidewalls that extend downwardly into the interior volume of the insulated cooler. The insulated cooler includes a submersible internal circulating pump operably connected to a system of copper tubing that winds around the sidewall of the recessed cup holders. When activated, the submersible internal circulating pump transports melted ice water through the tubing, which cools the sidewall of the recessed cup holders. In this way, the insulated cooler can cool objects within the interior volume and can cool beverages that are supported within the exterior cup holders.

A hard-sided cooler box may include a channel or cylindrical-shaped hole that extends from the outside of the cooler box to the inside of the cooler box. This cylindrical-shaped hole or channel may be covered/sealed by one or more latches of the cooler box when the cooler box is closed, and the latches are secured. However, when the latches of the cooler box are released, the cylindrical-shaped hole or channel may be unblocked, and the air from the interior of the cooler box can escape to the outside of the cooler box before the lid is lifted from the body. This allows the lid to be opened with no struggle.

A storage container includes a container body having a storage space defined therein; and a container cover coupled to one side of the container body to open and close the storage space, wherein the container body includes: an inner layer forming an inner face of the container body defining the inner space; and an outer layer bonded to the inner layer and forming an outer face of the container body. The inner layer is made of titanium first material, and the outer layer is made of aluminum second material.
