MULTI-ZONE AUTOMATED STORAGE AND RETRIEVAL SYSTEM
A multi-zone automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS) and a method for controlling operation of robotic storage/retrieval vehicles (RSRVs) therein are provided. The multi-zone ASRS includes first and second storage zones isolated by at least one barrier and including first and second groups of storage locations respectively for accommodating storage units therein. The multi-zone ASRS includes one or more portals opening through the barrier(s) between the storage zones, and at least one track layout. The track layout(s) includes first and second track areas occupying the first and second storage zones respectively, and one or more connective track segments interconnecting the first and second track areas through the portal(s). The RSRVs deposit and retrieve the storage units to and from the storage locations and travel on the first and second track areas via the connective track segment(s) to respectively access the first and second groups of storage locations therefrom.
MOBILE REFRIGERATED HOUSING FOR PORTABLE CADAVER RACK
A portable, refrigerable housing for enclosing a cadaver rack is provided. The walls of the housing are releasably connected and the front wall is formed from individually-openable panels so that individual cadaver compartments may be accessed.
Galley refrigeration system
A galley refrigeration system is provided in which a galley cart is positioned in the cavity of a galley compartment comprising at least a cart-facing opening positioned in a vertically intermediate region of the back wall, the galley cart or the galley compartment having a duct-facing opening positioned adjacent to the cart-facing opening. A heat exchanger configured to generate cooling air is provided within the galley compartment, adjacent the vertically intermediate region of the back wall of the galley compartment defining the cavity. An air supply duct, provided at the cart-facing opening, is configured to guide the cooling air from the heat exchanger into the galley cart, and configured to be detachably coupled to the duct-facing opening of the cart or the galley compartment. An electronically actuated valve controls a variable flow rate of the cooling air from the air supply duct into the galley cart.
Divided refrigeration system for aircraft galley cooling
A divided aircraft galley refrigeration system is disclosed. In embodiments, the system includes an evaporating unit positioned within an aircraft galley. In another embodiment, the system includes a refrigeration and heat discharge unit positioned outside of the aircraft galley. In another embodiment, the system includes a liquid refrigerant pipe configured to fluidically couple the evaporating unit and the refrigeration and heat discharge unit. In another embodiment, the system includes a vapor refrigerant pipe configured to fluidically couple the evaporating unit and the refrigeration and heat discharge unit.
CELL FOR STORING A SET OF PRODUCTS IN WHICH AN AIR FLOW THROUGH THE SET OF PRODUCTS IS IMPLEMENTED AND WHICH IS EQUIPPED WITH AN INFLATABLE SEALING DEVICE
The storage cell includes ventilation means suitable for creating a rear-to-front air flow or a front-to-rear air flow, an inflatable sealing device, and inflation means which allow the inflatable sealing device to be inflated. The inflatable sealing device includes an upper inflatable sealing element and at least one side inflatable sealing element which directly or indirectly allow, in the inflated state, a seal between the upper wall of the cell and at least one part of the top face of a set of products positioned in the cell and a seal between at least one side wall of the cell and at least one part of one of the side faces of this set of products. The upper inflatable sealing element and the side inflatable sealing element delimit a single inflatable chamber, and the inflation means allow the upper inflatable sealing element and the side inflatable sealing element to be inflated by blowing air into this single inflatable chamber.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR COOLING A CHILLED-GOODS CONTAINER
Disclosed is a cooling device (1), in particular for a galley of an aeroplane, comprising a cooling compartment (2) formed by inner walls (12, 13, 14, 15) of the cooling device, holding at least one refrigerated goods container (20), in particular a trolley, and further comprising a cooling air feed device (3) for introducing cooled air into the cooling compartment and a hot air discharge device (4) for discharging heated air (98) from the cooling compartment, wherein a primary flow channel is configured in use with the at least one refrigerated goods container (20) in the cooling compartment (2) between the inner walls (12, 13, 14, 15) of the cooling device and outer walls (22, 23, 24, 25) of the at least one refrigerated goods container (20), to guide a cooling air flow along a primary flow direction, deflected a plurality of limes through the arrangement of inner walls, from the cooling air feed device (3) around the at least one refrigerated goods container (20) to the hot air discharge device (4). According to the invention, the cooling air feed device (3) is configured to introduce the cooled air as jets into the primary flow channel along the primary flow direction (x), and in the cooling compartment (2) a secondary flow channel (9) is configured to return, as a secondary flow (9A), a portion (9A) of the cooling air flow guided through the primary flow channel around the at least one refrigerated goods container (20) into the primary flow channel for the purpose of mixing the introduced cooled air and forming a circulation flow (97) around the at least one refrigerated goods container (20) along the primary flow direction (x).
RAPID FREEZING, STORAGE, TRANSPORT, AND THAWING SYSTEM FOR CONTAINERS OF BIOPHARMACEUTICAL PRODUCTS
Disclosed is a system for freezing, storing, transporting, and thawing biopharmaceutical product, comprising a stationary equipment and one or more movable pallets, each pallet configured to carry one or more container units, each containing biopharmaceutical product, the stationary equipment comprising a gas circulating unit configured to cause a circulation of cold gas and/or warm gas, from a pull inlet toward a blow outlet, wherein there is provided at least a first side plenum having one or more gas conveying channel therein, configured to be fluidly coupled to the blow outlet of the gas circulating unit, the first side plenum having a plurality of outlet ports directed toward an interior volume of the pallet, wherein the gas circulates substantially in a horizontal direction in the interior volume of the pallet, and wherein a shaking arrangement is provided.
PORTABLE AIR BLAST SYSTEM FOR HOMOGENEOUS AND REPRODUCIBLE FREEZING AND THAWING OF BIOLOGICAL MATERIALS
This disclosure relates to a system and method to improve the uniformity of the heat transfer coefficient of containers filled with biological materials during the freezing and thawing process, in particular a system that is easily transported and incremented to other conventional freeze-thaw methods and equipment. The system includes a portable air blast system configured to receive a container filled with biological materials and to be placed in a cooling or heating chamber, for homogeneous and reproducible freezing and thawing of biological materials. This disclosure also relates to a method of freezing and thawing biological solution inside a container by using the portable air blast system according to any of the previous claims 1-12, comprising: obtaining a container filled with biological solution; placing the container into the vent enclosure and on the stand of the air blast system; placing the air blast system with the container into a heating or cooling chamber; activating the air blast system by activating the fan in the air blast system.

A compact, mobile serving cart for efficient preparation and service of cocktails, beverages, food, and/or other items to be served configured for service in a mobile, serve on the go configuration or service in a compact, stationary service configuration. The mobile serving cart includes a frame, side panels, wheels, and a user handle for pushing and maneuvering the cart. The mobile serving cart further includes a cooler assembly; a designated work tray space; a garnish and tool holder assembly; and driver-side drawers openable toward a user and configured for housing various ingredients, service tools, glassware, and other objects desirable for service of beverages, food, etc. In an exemplary embodiment, the mobile serving cart further includes removable caddies and mountable service accessories for smooth transition from service on the go to a compact, stationary, full-service bar.
