The invention relates to a device for drying wood, comprising: a container (1) for accommodating the wood (2) and a plate (4, 4′, 4″) forming a wall (3) of the container (1, 1′, 1″, 1″), wherein the plate (4) can be heated and wood (2) at least partially lies against the plate (4).
GRAIN DRYING APPARATUS
A grain drying apparatus configured to provide reduction of moisture of a grain disposed in a chamber thereof wherein the apparatus utilizes a photovoltaic power source. The present invention includes a housing having at least one wall, a bottom and a roof defining an interior volume. A heating chamber is present and is operable to provide heating of air for introduction into the grain drying apparatus. A heating coil assembly is operably coupled to the photovoltaic power source so as to provide heating of the air passing through the heating chamber. A first chamber is present wherein the first chamber is configured to receive grain therein. A second chamber is adjacent the first chamber and is operably coupled to the heating chamber. A void is present in the interior volume of the housing adjacent the second chamber. The wall intermediate the first and second chamber allows airflow therethrough.
Drying of material
There is provided a multi-module counterflow drying apparatus (100) for drying material, the apparatus (100) comprising: a material inlet (102); a material outlet (104); a heat inlet (108) for inputting heat to the apparatus such that the heat traverses the apparatus in the opposite direction than the material; and a plurality of mutually interchangeable modules (110) stacked on top of each other, wherein the material is configured to move in the apparatus from one module to another such that the movement direction of the material in a given module is opposite to the movement direction of the material in a module above or below, wherein each module (110) comprises: movable paddles (210) configured to discontinuously move the material forward in the module (110).
Multiple intermittence beehive grain dryer
MULTIPLE INTERMITTENCE BEEHIVE GRAIN DRYER, refers to a dryer of seeds and other agricultural products that can be a constructive format honeycomb type dryer designed to provide a unprecedented process of multiple intermittence during fast, gentle, non-aggressive drying process of grains and seeds through complete and safe removal of accumulated moisture, being divided into the following stages: drying-resting-drying-resting-drying, and so on until drying is complete. Exposure time to drying air is monitored and allows recirculation of humid air, it also allows batch or continuous drying with a thermally insulated plenum that removes dirty humid air located in the bottom section, without releasing it directly into the environment, with advantages of low production cost, dry grain of much higher quality, better energy efficiency, environmentally friendly and capable of virtually eliminating any accidental risks.
