Ink drying method and ink drying device
An ink drying method and device is provided for injection energy to overheated dry vapor in which saturated moisture vapor is heated and dried so as to miniaturize and cluster particles of the overheated dry vapor; apply impact energy to the clustered overheated dry vapor so as to further miniaturize the clustered particles of the overheated dry vapor and generate nano-size overheated dry vapor; and supply the nano-size overheated dry vapor in a supersaturated state into a chamber in which a substrate is placed to form an anoxic atmosphere within the chamber, infuse the nano-size overheated dry vapor into ink molecules and molecular boundaries in the anoxic atmosphere, and apply the energy of the nano-sized overheated dry vapor to the ink, so as to evaporate the moisture of the ink and degraded or reduced the organic solvent of the ink.
DRYING APPARATUS AND DRYER FOR A TEXTILE WEB COMPRISING AN IMPROVED DEVICE FOR INTRODUCING HEAT
A drying apparatus includes a dryer for a textile web. The dryer includes a drying chamber and at least one air-permeable drum arranged to rotate in the drying chamber. The textile web is guidable over a partial section of the circumference of the drum and heated drying air is flowable through the textile web. The dryer further includes a device to introduce heat for heating up the drying air. The device includes an internal hot gas source and an external hot gas source. The internal hot gas source is a component of the dryer and the external hot gas source is arranged peripherally to the dryer and includes a hot gas line connected at least indirectly to the dryer.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DRYING AND SANITIZING A PLURALITY OF DIVERSE ARTICLES
A highly portable, self-contained, multiple-item drying system that directs an antibacterial warmed air flow stream through a series of separate flexible, expandable, conduits (hoses) to provide an efficient, inexpensive, uncomplicated drying, sanitizing, deodorizing, and heating apparatus.
Clothes treating apparatus with detecting device for insertion of filter
A clothes treating apparatus includes a filter insertion detecting device that detects whether a filter has been inserted in the clothes treating apparatus. The filter insertion detecting device, which is installed in a clothes drying machine or the like, may be moved in response to insertion of a filter assembly to generate a contact signal that indicates insertion of the filter assembly.
Method and apparatus for polymer drying using inert gas
Method and apparatus for drying granular resin material by heating compressed air to a temperature prescribed for gas separation membrane operation, presenting the heated compressed air to a membrane separating out oxygen-size and smaller molecules to provide a stream of gas molecules of at least nitrogen-size at a pressure substantially that of the compressed air, heating the stream of gas molecules of at least nitrogen-size to a temperature at which dew point of the stream is no higher than −40 degrees F., and introducing the heated stream of gas molecules into a chamber for upward flow to atmosphere through granular resin material in the chamber.
Low profile design air tunnel system and method for providing uniform air flow in a refractance window dryer
A low profile design air tunnel system and method for providing uniform air flow in a refractance window dryer are disclosed. According to one embodiment, a system comprises a conditioned air supply manifold that provides air into a drying chamber. The system has a drying belt directed through the drying chamber. A feed application tray at a first end of the drying belt applies a liquid to the drying belt. The system has an exhaust manifold located at the first end of the drying belt.
System and process for curing a wet coating applied to a substrate
Systems and processes for curing a wet coating of a coated substrate are disclosed. The system includes a ventilation system and a curing room configured to receive the coated substrate being displaced along a displacement axis and includes at least an upstream curing section and a downstream curing section. The upstream curing section includes an upstream catalytic infrared heating system for producing an upstream infrared radiation at an upstream radiation intensity to heat and partially cure the wet coating while the coated substrate is being displaced through the upstream curing section. On the other hand, the downstream curing section includes a downstream catalytic infrared heating system for producing a downstream infrared radiation at a downstream radiation intensity, being lower than the upstream radiation intensity, to further cure the wet coating while the coated substrate is being displaced through the downstream curing section for producing a cured coating.

AIR PURIFYING FLOOR DRYER
The present invention provides a kit that may be added to existing floor dryers so that the dryers may purify the air it uses to dry floors while it dries the floors. The kit may be added to existing floor dryers or pre-installed on newly manufactured floor dryers. The kit includes an adapter that may be used to mount the kit to the intake of the dryer. It also includes an air filter that removes particulates from air drawn into the dryer. A UV light source is contained within the filter that also treats air drawn into the air dryer to kill microorganisms contained in the air before the air is blow out from the dryer to dry the floor.
