Integrated unit for treatment and drying lignocellulosic material
An integrated boiler-dryer consisting in a sealable vessel capable of sustaining high humidity and variable gas pressures and into which is placed a lignocellulosic material, and a compound in mist form. The sealable vessel provides dry heat so as to dry the lignocellulosic material while the compound is impregnated within the lignocellulosic material.
Method of drying frac sand without heat
A method of drying frac sand without heat is comprised of constructing a drainage system and placing sand on top of a perforated top layer thereon. The drainage system has multiple layers through which liquid passes to dewater sand resting thereon. At the bottom of the drainage system, perforated collection pipes, at least partially surrounded by rocks, collect and carry the liquid to a collection pond for reuse. A cellular confinement layer has sections of panels which, upon expansion, have cells filled with rocks. A woven monofilament geotextile fabric layer comprising woven monofilament geotextile fabric sheets sewn together has sized openings which allow fluid, but prevent sand from passing through the openings. The top layer comprises high density polyethylene perforated sheets welded together. A watertight liner sits below the collection pipes and the cellular confinement layer. Protective layers above and below the watertight liner prevent rocks from damaging same.
PORTABLE SAND DRYING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A portable sand drying system comprising a plurality of wheeled operational units including a feed hopper, a dryer, and a screen, wherein the wheeled operational units are supported by at least two wheels while operating. One or more of the wheeled operational units include an automatic height adjuster which, when activated, automatically elevates a portion of the wheeled operational unit from a traveling height to an operating height. The plurality of wheeled operational units further includes a motor control center (MCC) to provide power and control signals to the various other wheeled operational units. Non-MCC wheeled operational units contain a pre-wired junction box, which the MCC would plug one or more cables directly into in order to provide one of power, control signals, and both power and control signals to the non-MCC wheeled operational units.
RADIO FREQUENCY MOISTURE-REMOVAL
Systems and methods of grain drying using radio frequency waves while maintaining low temperature are disclosed herein. Specifically, the system and method includes minimizing temperature increases caused by dielectric radio frequency heating while increasing intermolecular hydrogen bond disruption. Further disclosed herein are devices systems and methods for removing moisture from a material via radio frequency electromagnetic wave exposure.
Protective layers above and below the watertight liner prevent rocks from damaging same.
Blender
A blender has a mixing chamber for reception of materials to be blended. A mixing screw is mounted at a bottom of the mixing chamber for mixing materials within the mixing chamber and delivering mixed materials to an outlet feeding a processing line. The blender has a plurality of material handling compartments. One or more cleaning air jets are provided in each material handling compartment. The cleaning air jets are operable to direct material towards an outlet of the compartment. Each cleaning air jet is connected to a pressurised air supply through a valve which controls delivery of pressurised air to the cleaning air jet.
Device and Method for Drying or Heating and Cooling Bulk Material
The device for drying or heating and cooling bulk material in accordance with the invention consists of a rotatable drum comprising means for receiving the bulk material in a first region and means for discharging the bulk material from a second region, wherein a central region is arranged between the first and second regions, said central region consisting of an annular structure with a first and a second diaphragm with central diaphragm apertures each, which form substantially two diaphragm planes parallel to each other, and comprise a plurality of transport channels closed toward the central region for transporting the bulk material from the first region to the second region of the rotatable drum through the central region, wherein the transport channels extend from the first to the second diaphragms at a non-90 angle relative to the two diaphragm planes.
Drainage system and method of drying frac sand
A drainage system for drying frac sand without heat comprises multiple layers through which liquid passes to dewater sand resting on the drainage system. At the bottom of the drainage system, perforated collection pipes, at least partially surrounded by rocks, collect the liquid and carry it to a collection pond for reuse. A cellular confinement layer comprises sections of panels which, upon expansion, have cells filled with rocks. A woven monofilament geotextile fabric layer comprising woven monofilament geotextile fabric sheets sewn together has sized openings which allow fluid, but prevent sand from passing through the openings.
