A sealed feeder device utilized in an electric arc furnace (1), and a flue gas and temperature control method. The sealed feeder device comprises a sealed feeding chute (5) having an outlet sealedly communicating with a side wall of the electric arc furnace (1), and a material blocking sealed arc-shaped door (3) disposed in the sealed feeding chute (5). The material blocking sealed arc-shaped door (3) separates the sealed feeding chute (5) into a cold steel scrap storage chamber (18) and a material feeding and dedusting chamber (2), and is operated by a driving mechanism (34) to separate or connect the cold steel scrap storage chamber (18) and the material feeding and dedusting chamber (2). The method comprises: adopting the feeder device to divide the flue gas of the electric arc furnace (1) into two paths, and controlling, by a flue gas adjustment device (16), a ratio of a flue gas flow from a flow-splitting dust removal pipe (11) to that from a dust removal pipe (4) to obtain a required flue gas mixture temperature.

An example embodiment of the present invention provides a system for preheating ferromagnetic scrap. The system can include a preheating unit that is configured to hold ferromagnetic scrap and to receive hot gases. The preheating unit may include a removable cover that can include an electrical magnet system. The electrical magnet system can comprise an electrical magnet, a lifting device configured to lower and raise the electrical magnet, a power system configured to provide electrical power to the electrical magnet, and an electrical control system configured to operate the magnet. A hot gases cleaning system may be fluidly connected to the preheating unit.

The present invention provides an electric furnace including: a furnace body that includes an electrode; and a slag holding furnace that is configured to hold molten slag in a molten state and is capable of pouring the molten slag into the furnace body when tilted, in which the furnace body includes a cylindrical furnace wall, a furnace cover that is provided at an upper end of the furnace wall, a furnace bottom that is provided at a lower end of the furnace wall and includes a deep bottom portion and a shallow bottom portion as a region having a height of 150 mm to 500 mm from a deepest point of the deep bottom portion, and a slag pouring port that is provided at the furnace cover and through which the molten slag is poured from the slag holding furnace, the slag pouring port overlaps the shallow bottom portion in a plan view, and the area ratio of the shallow bottom portion to the furnace bottom in a plan view is 5% to 40%.

Disclosed is a high-temperature flue gas recovery apparatus for a melting furnace, which relates to copper production, including a preheating chamber and a feeding mechanism, a lower end of the preheating chamber being in communication with a feeding port of the melting furnace, the feeding mechanism being disposed above the preheating chamber to deliver feedstock into the preheating chamber, a plurality of layers of buffer mechanisms layered in an upper-lower manner being provided in the preheating chamber, each layer of the buffer mechanism including a buffer element and a drive element, the drive element driving the corresponding buffer element to move such that the feedstock on the buffer element of an upper-layer buffer mechanism falls onto the buffer element of a lower-layer buffer mechanism, a gap allowing a gas to pass through being provided between the buffer mechanisms and an inner wall of the preheating chamber. The solution may recover the high-temperature flue gas produced by the melting furnace to preheat the feedstock, thereby enhancing the energy utilization ratio during the production process; moreover, with the plurality of buffer mechanisms, the solution may charge the feedstock into the melting furnace in small quantity per time and in multiple times, facilitating accurate control of the feeding rate and amount of the feedstock.
