METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING CARBON FIBER BUNDLE
A method for manufacturing a carbon fiber bundle includes a stabilization process of subjecting an acrylic fiber bundle to a heat treatment within a range of 200° C. to 300° C. in an oxidizing atmosphere; a pre-carbonization process of performing a heat treatment within a range of 300° C. to 1,000° C. using a heat treatment furnace having at least one inert gas supply port on each of an incoming side and an outgoing side of the fiber bundle and at least one exhaust port between the incoming-side and outgoing-side inert gas supply ports, the heat treatment being performed with a temperature of an inert gas supplied being higher on the outgoing side than on the incoming side; and a carbonization process of performing a heat treatment at a temperature of 1,000° C. to 2,000° C. in an inert gas atmosphere, in which from a position at which an atmospheric temperature in the heat treatment furnace is 300° C., the position being closest to the outgoing side in a machine length direction, up to the inert gas supply port on the incoming side, a flow of an inert atmosphere within the heat treatment furnace in the pre-carbonization process consists only of a flow in a parallel flow direction with respect to a travel direction of the fiber bundle in the machine length direction. Provided is a method for manufacturing a carbon fiber bundle by which manufacturing can be performed continuously for a long time by preventing entry into a temperature zone causing deposition of a gasified decomposition product, such as tar, that is generated at the time of the pre-carbonization treatment in manufacturing of carbon fibers and that stays within the heat treatment furnace.
Apparatus for thermally cycling an object including a polarizable material
An apparatus includes a thermal chamber, a first reservoir containing a first liquid/vapor two-phase system, a second reservoir containing a second liquid/vapor two-phase system and conduits connecting the first reservoir and second reservoir to the thermal chamber. The first and second liquid/vapor two-phase systems include a liquid phase and a separate vapor phase. The apparatus also includes a conduit connecting the vapor phases of the first and second reservoirs. The apparatus can be used to thermally cycle an object placed in the thermal chamber or the vapor region of the first reservoir. The object can include one or more layers of an electrically or magnetically polarizable material.
Compound furnace
A compound sintering furnace with managed contamination for debinding and sintering parts. An inner insulation layer is disposed within an outer insulation layer and has an internal hot face surrounding a work zone. A sealed housing surrounds the inner insulation layer and is composed of a refractory material capable of withstanding a service temperature greater than a debinding temperature and less than a sintering temperature. An outer heater system is configured to heat at least a portion of the sealed housing and externally heat the inner insulation layer to, in conjunction with an inner heater system, heat the work zone to the debinding temperature, and inhibit condensation of a binder within and upon the inner insulation layer during a debinding process. The inner heater system is configured to internally heat the inner insulation and heat the work zone to the sintering temperature.
REDUCING GAS INJECTION SYSTEM
A reducing gas injection system for a blast furnace having a blast furnace wall, the system including a reducing gas distribution pipe, one or more injectors mounted to the blast furnace wall at a shaft level, where the reducing gas distribution pipe is attached to the blast furnace wall or its supporting structure, where the injector(s) have a nozzle body with a peripheral wall extending along a longitudinal axis from a front portion, with at least one injection hole, to an opposite rear portion with an inlet port, where the nozzle body includes an inner gas channel for guiding reducing gas from the inlet port to the injection holes(s); where the nozzle body is mounted trough an aperture in the blast furnace wall in such a way that the front portion with the injection hole(s) is located on an inner side of the blast furnace, whereas the rear portion with the inlet port is outside of the blast furnace wall, where the nozzle body includes a peripheral mounting portion configured for connecting the injector in a gas tight manner to the aperture in the blast furnace wall, where the inlet port is in fluidic connection with the reducing gas distribution pipe by means of an injector stock, the injector stock including a feeding pipe connected to the reducing gas distribution pipe, an elbow connected to the feeding pipe and an injector pipe connected to the elbow, the injector pipe being flange mounted in a gas tight manner to the inlet port of the injector and the injector pipe and/or an outlet of the elbow having at least one cardan compensation joint.
HEAT TREATMENT DEVICE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING DISPLAY PANEL USING THE SAME
A heat treatment device includes a chamber accommodating a work substrate including a first organic layer, a heater part which is disposed in the chamber and heats the work substrate, an air supply part including a first nozzle which supplies an external air to the chamber, a second nozzle which is disposed in the first nozzle and supplies a process gas to the chamber, and a cover part provided through which an opening overlapping the second nozzle is defined and which is disposed at an end of the first nozzle, which is adjacent to an outlet of the first nozzle, and an air exhaust part exhausting particles in the chamber to an outside of the chamber.
BLAST FURNACE WITH SHAFT FEEDING OF HOT PROCESS GAS
A shaft furnace, in particular a blast furnace, comprises includes an outer metal shell; a plurality of tuyeres arranged to inject hot blast into the shaft furnace; and means for injecting process gas in the shaft stack area, where the injector has a nozzle body with a peripheral wall extending along a longitudinal axis from a front portion, with at least one injection hole, to an opposite rear portion connected to a base member, where the nozzle body includes an inner gas channel for guiding process gas from an inlet port in the base member to the injection holes(s), nozzle body being mounted through an aperture in the metal shell in such a way that the front region with injection hole(s) is located on the inner side of the metal shell, whereas the rear portion is outside of the metal shell, and the base member includes a peripheral mounting portion configured for connecting the injector in a gas tight manner to a mounting unit surrounding the aperture in the metal shell.
Compound Furnace

Heat treatment apparatus
A heat treatment apparatus has a first screw conveyor, a second screw conveyor, a first nozzle pipe, and a second nozzle pipe. If the first screw conveyor rotates right, the first nozzle pipe is disposed on the left lateral side of the first screw conveyor. If the first screw conveyor rotates left, the first nozzle pipe is disposed on the right lateral side of the first screw conveyor. If the second screw conveyor rotates right, the second nozzle pipe is disposed on the left lateral side of the second screw conveyor. If the second screw conveyor rotates left, the second nozzle pipe is disposed on the right lateral side of the second screw conveyor.
HEAT TREATMENT APPARATUS
A heat treatment apparatus has a first screw conveyor, a second screw conveyor, a first nozzle pipe, and a second nozzle pipe. If the first screw conveyor rotates right, the first nozzle pipe is disposed on the left lateral side of the first screw conveyor. If the first screw conveyor rotates left, the first nozzle pipe is disposed on the right lateral side of the first screw conveyor. If the second screw conveyor rotates right, the second nozzle pipe is disposed on the left lateral side of the second screw conveyor. If the second screw conveyor rotates left, the second nozzle pipe is disposed on the right lateral side of the second screw conveyor.
INJECTION DEVICE FOR DISCHARGING A GAS, PROCESS GAS SYSTEM FOR SUPPLYING A PROCESS GAS, AND DEVICE AND METHOD FOR THE THERMAL OR THERMO-CHEMICAL TREATMENT OF MATERIAL
Injection device (56) for discharging a gas (54), in particular a process gas (54), onto a material (12), in particular onto a battery cathode material (14) that is to be calcined, having at least one inlet (58) through which the gas (54) can be supplied to the injection device (56), and at least one outlet (60) through which the gas (54) can be discharged from the injection device (56), the inlet and outlet being connected to one another by a flow path (62) for the gas (54). According to the invention, the flow path (62) has a heat exchanger (64) with a heat exchanger housing (68) which is accessible from the outside for an ambient atmosphere (66) and in which a duct arrangement (70) is integrated. The duct arrangement (70) comprises a first flow duct (72.1) and a second flow duct (72.2) between which there is formed a redirection region (74.1) such that the gas (54) can flow through the first and second flow duct (72.1, 72.2) in different main flow directions. The invention further relates to a process gas system (52) for supplying a gas (54) and to a device (10) and a method for the thermal or thermo-chemical treatment of material.
