Advanced large scale field-erected air cooled industrial steam condenser
A large scale field erected air cooled industrial steam condenser. A bottom bonnet runs along the bottom length of the heat exchanger bundle for delivering steam to the bottom end of the condenser tubes and for receiving condensate formed in those same tubes. The tops of the tubes are connected to a top bonnet. Uncondensed steam and non-condensables flow into the top bonnet from the condenser tubes. Each cell of the ACC is fed by steam distribution manifold suspended from and directly below the bundle support framework.
Air-cooled condenser apparatus and method
The present invention relates to an air-cooled condenser apparatus for condensing a steam flow exiting a turbine from for example a power plant. The air-cooled condenser apparatus comprises a series of condenser modules, each module having a series of compact delta-type heat exchanger units and a series of fans. The air-cooled condenser apparatus further comprises a series of independent frame structures FRS(m) wherein the number of frame structures has a lower limit depending on the number of modules. The invention further relates to a method for manufacturing an air-cooled condenser apparatus comprising steps of manufacturing the delta-type heat exchanger units in the factory, placing the units in a container for transportation and erecting the air-cooled condenser apparatus at a site of installation.
MINI-TUBE AIR COOLED INDUSTRIAL STEAM CONDENSER
Large scale field erected air cooled industrial steam condenser having 10 heat exchanger bundles per cell arranged in five pairs in a V-shape, each heat exchanger bundle having four primary heat exchangers and four secondary heat exchangers in which each secondary heat exchanger is paired with a single primary heat exchanger. Four primary condensers are arranged such that the tubes are horizontal, while the inlet steam manifolds at one end of the tubes are perpendicular to the primary condenser tubes, i.e., parallel to the transverse axis of the bundle. Steam enters the small inlet steam manifolds from below. Cross-sectional dimensions of the tubes are 200 mm wide with a cross-section height of less than 10 mm with fins that are 10 mm in height, arranged at 9 to 12 fins per inch.
ALL-SECONDARY AIR COOLED INDUSTRIAL STEAM CONDENSER
A new design for large scale field erected industrial steam condensers in which all of the bundles are constructed as secondary bundles, in A-frame or V-Shape configuration, with tubes oriented 25-35 degrees from the vertical, steam fed from the bottom and condensate is collected from the bundles from the bottom using a combination/hybrid manifold that both delivers steam to the tubes and collects condensate from the tubes and which is constructed so that the condensate is prevented from returning down the steam delivery riser(s) and in which the cross-sectional dimensions of the tubes are 125 mm wide with a cross-section height of less than 10 mm with fins that are 9.25 mm in height, arranged at 9 to 12 fins per inch.
ADVANCED LARGE SCALE FIELD-ERECTED AIR COOLED INDUSTRIAL STEAM CONDENSER
Large scale field erected air cooled industrial steam condenser having heat exchanger bundles constructed with an integral secondary section positioned in the center of the heat exchanger, flanked by identical primary condenser sections. A bottom bonnet runs along the bottom length of the heat exchanger bundle, connected to the bottom side of the bottom tube sheet, for delivering steam to the bottom end of the primary condenser tubes and for receiving condensate formed in those same tubes. The tops of the tubes are connected to a top bonnet. Uncondensed steam and non-condensables flow into the top bonnet from the primary condenser tubes and flow toward the center of the heat exchanger bundle where they enter the top of the secondary condenser section tubes. Non-condensables and condensate formed in the secondary section tubes enter a secondary bottom bonnet inside the primary bottom bonnet and are withdrawn from the secondary bottom bonnet via outlet nozzle. Each cell of the ACC is fed by a single riser which delivers its steam to an upper steam distribution manifold suspended from and directly below the bundle support framework.
STACKED PANEL HEAT EXCHANGER FOR AIR COOLED INDUSTRIAL STEAM CONDENSER
A stacked panel tube bundle for an air cooled steam condenser having two sets of condensing tubes, one set arranged above the other, the first (lower) set of tubes in direct fluid communication with a combined steam delivery/condensate collection manifold at a bottom end and in indirect fluid communication with a non-condensable collection manifold via an L-shaped extension member; the second (upper) set of tubes in direct fluid communication with the non-condensable collection manifold at the top, and in indirect fluid communication with the combined steam delivery/condensate collection manifold via an L-shaped extension member.
Strong cooling direct air-cooled condenser radiating unit and air-cooled island
A strong cooling direct air-cooled condenser radiating unit and an air-cooled island are provided, comprises a cooling wall, an air supply device and a flow guide device located in the cooling wall. The air supply device comprises a unit air supply channel, an air supply ring, and an air collecting cavity. The air supply ring is located at the lower part of the cooling wall and is an annular body with a cavity. An annular slit outlet is formed in the lower part of the air supply ring. The upper part of the air collecting cavity communicates with the air supply ring. A separating plate is provided in the unit air supply channel and divides the unit air supply channel into upper and lower air flues. The upper air flue communicates with the cavity of the air supply ring. The lower air flue communicates with the air collecting cavity.

Three-stage heat exchanger for an air-cooled condenser
The present invention relates to a V-shaped heat exchanger for condensing exhaust steam from a turbine. The V-shaped heat exchanger comprises primary, secondary and tertiary single-row condensing tubes placed in a V-shaped geometry. A steam supply manifold supplies the exhaust steam to lower ends of the primary tubes and steam that is not condensed in the primary tubes is collected at upper ends of the primary tubes and transported to the secondary tubes using top connecting manifolds. Steam that is not condensed in the secondary tubes is further transported to the tertiary tubes using a bottom connection manifold. The tertiary tubes are coupled at their ends with an evacuation manifold for evacuating non-condensable gases.
