The heat exchanger further includes a first manifold and a second manifold, where the first plurality of channels extends from the first manifold to the second manifold, and a third manifold and a fourth manifold, where the second plurality of channels extends from the third manifold to the fourth manifold. The heat exchanger further includes a single part having the base portion, the first manifold, the second manifold, the third manifold, and the fourth manifold.

Plate heat exchanger and heat pump device including the same

A plate heat exchanger includes heat transfer plates each of which has openings at four corners thereof, and which are stacked together. The heat transfer plates are partially brazed together such that a first flow passage through which first fluid flows and a second flow passage through which second fluid flows are alternately arranged, with an associated heat transfer plate interposed between the first and second flow passages. The openings at each of the four corners communicate with each other, thereby forming a first header and a second header, the first header allowing the first fluid to flow into and flow out of the first flow passage, the second header allowing the second fluid to flow into and flow out of the second flow passage.

A heat exchange assembly includes an upper cover panel, a lower cover panel, a plurality of stacked plate assemblies, and a plurality of fins interposed between the plurality of plate assemblies. Each of the plurality of plate assemblies forms a flow passage for receiving a coolant. A continuous flow path extends through the heat exchange assembly. The flow path is in fluid communication with the flow passage of each of the plates and configured to convey air from each of the flow passages to an environment separate from the heat exchanger.

REFRIGERATION SYSTEM
20230079230 · 2023-03-16 · ·

A reversible refrigeration system including a compressor arranged to compress gaseous refrigerant, a four-way valve switchable between a heating position in which a payload is heated and a cooling position in which the payload is cooled. A payload heat exchanger is connected to the payload requiring heating or cooling, and a dump heat exchanger, two one-way valves, and two controllable expansion valves as well, wherein the one-way valves each are connected parallel to a corresponding expansion valve, wherein switching of the four-way valve between the heating position and the cooling position controls a flow of pressurized refrigerant to either of the payload heat exchanger or the dump heat exchanger and wherein the heat exchanger which receives the flow of pressurized refrigerant functions as a condenser and the other heat exchanger functions as an evaporator.

Process for producing a plate heat exchanger and plate heat exchanger

A plate heat exchanger has two metal plates brought into abutment, with a solder material between the plates. The plates are heated up to a first temperature. The plates are placed into a mold, the mold surfaces of which have cavities for envisaged channel structures. Channel structures are formed by local internal pressure forming of at least one plate under pressurization by the tool. The plates are heated up to a second temperature. The plates are solder bonded at the abuted surfaces. A plate heat exchanger has two metal plates, wherein channel structures have been formed in at least one plate and the plates are bonded to one another by soldering away from the channel structures. Eutectic microstructures having a longest extent of less than 50 micrometers are formed in the solder layer.
