Heat Exchanger Tube Spacing Device (Varinats)

A heat exchanger devices for operations in heavy liquid metal coolant mediums that ensures reliable fixation and spacing of heat exchanger tubes. A first option includes one supporting spacer grid 1 consisting of a cylindrical shell 2 and two or more tiers of plates 3 and 4 spaced apart at the preset gap, while the width of each plate lies within the plane which is parallel to the shell axis; ends of all plates are fixed to the shell such that plates of any tier are parallel to each other and located at the preset gap; plates of different tiers are criss-crossed at an angle of 60 degrees along the shell axles and fastened together at the crossing points. A second option includes three dividers which run through the cylinder axis; their ends are connected to the shell and are spaced at an angle of 60 degrees.

SYSTEM AND METHODS OF A VERTICAL ROD BAFFLE HEAT EXCHANGER

A vertical rod baffle heat exchanger may be used for heat removal, condensation operations, electricity generation, petrochemical plants, waste heat recovery, and other industrial applications. The vertical rod baffle heat exchanger may include a shell; a tube-sheet; a tube bundle having a plurality of heat exchange tubes extending in an axial direction; six or more longitudinal partition plates; and a plurality of rod baffle rings provided along an axial length of the plurality of heat exchange tubes. At least one longitudinal partition plate may be a notched longitudinal partition plate. The plurality of rod baffle rings may have lateral rod baffles and longitudinal rod baffles. The lateral rod baffles and the longitudinal rod baffles may pass through gaps between every two adjacent tubes of plurality of heat exchange tubes. The lateral rod baffles may pass through openings in the notched longitudinal partition plate.

HEAT EXCHANGER FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE COMPRISING FLEXIBLE FLUID LINES AND HOLDING STRUCTURE
20190003773 · 2019-01-03 ·

A heat exchanger for a motor vehicle includes first fluid lines of a flexible material, through which a first fluid (F.sub.1) flows, and a holding structure with holding elements. The first fluid lines and the holding elements form a woven structure. The holding elements are in a thread-like manner and extend along a second direction of extension (R.sub.2), at right angles to a first direction of extension (R.sub.1). The heat exchanger, through which a second fluid (F.sub.2) flows, is separated from the first fluid (F.sub.1). The woven structure includes a first and second partial woven structures and are formed separately. The first partial woven structure and the second partial structure are arranged so that the second fluid (F.sub.2) flows through the woven structure space, formed between the two partial woven structures. The first and the second partial woven structures are at an angle relative to one another.

A shell and tube heat exchanger include heat surface tubes (6) surrounded by a shell (1), the tubes communicating with an inlet end chamber (11) through a tube sheet (5) at one end and with an outlet end chamber (12) through a tube sheet at the other end, and in the shell side of the tube heat exchanger there is at least one baffle plate made of flat strips for supporting the heat surface tubes and guiding the shell-side flow. The flat strips forming the baffle plate are straight and thinner than the distance between the tubes to be supported, and the required support is achieved by placing each flat strip of the baffle plate in an inclined position with respect to the heat surface tubes so that one of the crosswise edges of the flat strip is supporting one and the other is supporting the other of adjacent tubes.

Ionic liquid reactor with heat exchanger

An ionic liquid reactor unit and a process for controlling heat generation from an ionic liquid reactor unit. The ionic liquid reactor unit may include an external heat exchanger. The effluent from the reactor is separated in a separation zone allowing the hydrocarbon phase to transfer heat to a cooling fluid. The heat exchanger may be a tube-in-shell, a spiral plate heat exchanger, a hair pin heat exchanger. The heat exchanger accommodates the separation of the ionic liquid from the hydrocarbon phase, and may allow for the ion liquid to be drained.
