Firearm conversion device
11566858 · 2023-01-31 ·

A device for converting a semiautomatic firearm to a non-semiautomatic firearm. The device includes a bolt stop lever pivotally attachable to a receiver of a firearm, a spring configured to be installed in contact with the bolt stop lever and a firearm receiver such that the spring exerts a force on the bolt stop lever to retain the bolt stop lever in a first position, and, a bolt release mechanism operatively coupleable to the bolt stop lever and configured to pivot the bolt stop lever against the force of the spring into a second position. The bolt release mechanism is operatively decoupled from the bolt stop lever when the bolt stop lever reaches the second position. When in the first position the bolt stop lever restricts motion of a bolt of the firearm, and when in the second position, the bolt stop lever permits motion of the firearm bolt.

The present disclosure relates to the technical field of special locks. The lock structure with improved safety includes a support assembly, a fixed cavity and an unlocking cavity; the fixed cavity is provided with a lock beam; the unlocking cavity is provided with a lockhole and a locking device; the lock beam is threaded into a trigger position of a gun and then into the lockhole and is locked by the locking device; an inner wall of the lockhole extends into the unlocking cavity to form a lockhole ring; a convex rib is arranged on an inner wall of the lockhole ring; a groove is formed in an outer wall of the lock beam; the convex rib and the groove are connected with each other in an embedded manner, so that the lock beam is stabilized in the lockhole ring.

Ammunition convertible firearm

A firearm as disclosures herein comprises a main receiver body, a barrel, a breech bolt structure, a buffer assembly, a trigger group assembly, a bolt catch and at least one of an auto-sear, a magazine adapter and a breech bolt anti-rotation structure. The main receiver body is preferably of a monolithic construction whereby the handguard and breech bolt carrying bore can be manufactured from a single piece of material. The auto-sear is tripped by engagement with a buffer of the buffer assembly. The magazine adapter has an exterior surface structure engaged with a mating interior surface structure of a magazine well space of the main receiver body. A distal end portion of the breech bolt anti-rotation structure is engageable by the buffer for limiting forward travel of the buffer when the barrel is detached from the main receiver body.

Retaining devices securable on firearms are selectively operable to engage and retain a bolt assembly in a substantially-fixed position for an indeterminate period of time. The retaining devices include a mounting plate securable to the receiver and a retention pin that extends through a passage in the mounting plate. The retention pin extends axially between first and second ends that project outwardly beyond the mounting plate. The retention pin is supported on the mounting plate for axial displacement between a first pin position and a second pin position. In the first pin position, the second end of the retention pin engages and retains the bolt assembly in a substantially-fixed position relative to the receiver. In the second pin position, the second end of the retention pin is disengaged from the bolt assembly.
