Firearm trigger mechanisms with rotatable linkage members and associated systems and methods
Firearm trigger mechanisms with rotatable linkage members and associated systems and methods are disclosed herein. A firearm trigger assembly configured in accordance with embodiments of the present technology can include, for example, a trigger, first and second linkage members, and a sear. The first linkage member, second linkage member, and sear are arranged in an over-center configuration that securely locks the sear in a first position. Pulling on the trigger causes the trigger to rotate about a fixed pivot point and push on one of the two linkage members, forcing the linkage members and the sear out of the over-center configuration. The force from a striking mechanism forces the sear and the linkage members into a collapsed configuration, releasing the striking mechanism and firing the firearm. This two toggle configuration of the trigger assembly provides crisp and reliable release of the firearm.

Method of sear engagement adjustment for firearms
A method for sear engagement adjustment of a firearm trigger mechanism by installing a sear control device comprised of a compression spring of a given wire diameter or tube of a given wall thickness over a sear stop pin. The thickness of the sear control device installed over the sear stop pin affects sear engagement. The method for sear engagement adjustment is applied by changing between sear control devices of different thickness until a desired level of sear engagement is achieved.
SINGLE-ACTION TRIGGER
Provided is a single-action trigger assembly that includes a pivoting trigger member, a sear/disconnector mechanism, and a trigger bar operably connecting the trigger member and the sear/disconnector mechanism. The sear/disconnector mechanism includes a slider assembly longitudinally reciprocated by the trigger bar. The slider assembly includes a tripper member carried on a slider frame that, when the trigger is pulled, moves a sear trip member to allow displacement of a sear and release a striker.

Full power blow-back gun for lightweight application
A small lightweight weapon system for integration into an unmanned aerial vehicle comprises a weapon operating group which utilizes blowback operation to fire a full-powered centerfire rifle ammunition. An operating rod of the weapon operating group has an axis of translation offset from the longitudinal axis of the barrel thereby creating a moment couple on the system. A motor assembly controls the operation of the weapon operating group. Through a gear train, actuation of the motor assembly lifts a sear against a return torsion spring, which holds the operating group back when not firing. The gear train comprises a one way flywheel disconnect to increase the torque of the direct current motor and overcome the force of the torsion spring. Intelligent motor commutation and burst control are achieved through an encoder and software package.

PISTOL WITH HORIZONTAL MAGAZINE BENEATH THE BARREL
A striker fired semi-automatic pistol or handgun that utilizes a magazine positioned horizontally and in front of the grip. The pistol of the invention includes two recoil springs and two locking lugs positioned on each side of the barrel (1 per side) which has a corresponding set of locking blocks. A sliding stripper rail is utilized to move cartridges from the magazine to the barrel. The grip is detachable and completely customizable, using a small solid tang to connect the grip to the firearm.
Fire Control Mechanism For Striker-Fired Pistols With Enhanced Safety Features
A pistol has a frame with a striker operably connected to the frame. A trigger is operably connected to the frame. A transmission element is operably connected between the trigger and striker to motivate the striker to discharge the firearm in response to actuation of the trigger. The transmission element is movable between a first position in which operation connection from the trigger to the striker is enabled, and a second position in which operation connection from the trigger to the striker is disabled in response to acceleration forces due to dropping the pistol.
