MODIFIED BREAK-ACTION FIREARM
A break-action firearm for high caliber ammunition is described. In some arrangements, the firearm is a rifle. The higher caliber ammunition may be, for example, fifty caliber ammunition. The firearm includes a barrel that is hingedly coupled to a lower portion of the firearm. A latching mechanism secures the barrel in a firing position and releases the barrel from the firing position. The barrel includes a screw-on breech cap that is threadedly coupled to the end of the barrel. The breech cap includes a firing pin. When an ammunition cartridge is loaded into the barrel, the screw-on breech cap is installed, and the barrel is secured in the firing position, a user can pull a trigger that causes a firing hammer to hit the firing pin thereby firing the ammunition cartridge.

Shotgun with decocking mechanism
A decocking safety lever for use with an external hammer shotgun includes a safety rod selectively positionable between a safe position wherein squeezing of the trigger is prevented; a fire position wherein squeezing of the trigger fires a shotgun shell; and a decocked positioned wherein the hammer is positioned in a decocked position and unable to fire the shotgun shell.

Single 40 mm projectile launcher
A launcher device for launching a 40 mm projectile (i.e., both high explosive grenades and less lethal 40 mm rounds) includes a receiver assembly, a removable buttstock, a pivoting barrel assembly, a barrel stop that limits opening of the barrel to approximately 45 degrees relative to the receiver for fast reloading, and an auto ejection assembly for ejecting spent casings out of the chamber upon opening the barrel. Individual 40 mm rounds are loaded into the chamber at the proximal end of the barrel assembly by releasing a barrel stop lever assembly and pivoting the barrel assembly open relative to the receiver assembly. The launcher further includes a hidden double action trigger group which prevents accidental firing. An arrangement of built-in picatinny rails on the barrel allow for attachment of accessories such as lights, fore grips, slings, etc.
