FIREARM NOISE SUPPRESSOR
20230003479 · 2023-01-05 · ·

A suppressor system for a firearm having aligned sleeve openings between the barrel or a central tube and an inner sleeve. The suppressor system further includes dividers located between an outer sleeve and the inner sleeve. The suppressor system provides improved noise attenuation through the expansion of hot gasses multiple cavities in the suppressor system and also by slowing the hot gasses via tortuous pathways or collision of hot gasses in the suppressor system.

Apparatus and method for regulating firearm discharge gases and mounting a component to a firearm

A muzzle booster or similar device for regulating firearm discharge gases from an autoloading firearm is disclosed. The muzzle booster may include a shroud and an interior component. The interior component may include a blast baffle that is configured and dimensioned to provide internal and external geometries such that exhaust pressure within the gas system is extended as a function of time to increase the overall minimum pressure impulse from the gas system into the operating mechanism of the host firearm. The blast baffle or interior component may be of M baffle type, K baffle type, or other baffle design, including monocore designs, or baffle designs integrated into monocore designs. The shroud and the interior component may cooperate with the barrel of the host firearm to form a taper lock system for securing the muzzle booster or device to the host firearm barrel.

A firearm accessory and an end cap useful with the firearm assembly. The firearm assembly handles exhaust gas expelled with a round fired from a firearm and includes a fitting, a sleeve, a fluid pressure dissipation structure, and an end cap assembly at a distal end of the dissipation structure. The sleeve defines an internal volume that at least partially receives the dissipation structure. The end cap assembly and the dissipation structure at least partially define one or more distal chambers communicating with the internal volume. The end cap assembly defines a first, a second, and a third passage, each communicating with an exterior of the accessory. The first passage allows a bullet to pass through. The second passage includes a port in the end cap assembly radially outward of the first passage. The third passage includes a port located radially outward from the port of the second passage.

Wiped muzzle device
11512917 · 2022-11-29 · ·

A wiped muzzle device, such as a compensator, brake or flash suppressor. The wipe improves the function of the muzzle device by forcing muzzle blast gases through the ports or vents to either counter the force vector created by the muzzle blast gases or alter the mixing of gases to reduce muzzle flash.
