COMPACT UPPER RECEIVER RECOIL SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A firearm recoil system is disclosed. The firearm recoil system may include first and second guide rods attached to a bolt carrier group. The first and second guide rods may extend forward through an upper receiver. The firearm recoil system also may include first and second recoil springs. The first recoil spring may be disposed around the first guide rod, and second recoil spring may be disposed around the second guide rod.

Buffer retainer, which buffer retainer comprises a body portion having an upper surface, and a retainer tab extending from the upper surface of the body portion, wherein the cross-sectional area of the retainer tab is smaller than the cross-sectional area of the body portion, wherein the body portion is configured to be set in a hole formed in a frame piece of a weapon, and wherein the retainer tab is configured to extend above surface of the frame piece via a channel to restrict movement of a buffer of the weapon, which channel extends between the end surface of the hole and the said surface of the frame piece, and which channel has smaller diameter than the said hole. BUFFER RETAINER
Buffer retainer, which buffer retainer comprises a body portion having an upper surface, and a retainer tab extending from the upper surface of the body portion, wherein the cross-sectional area of the retainer tab is smaller than the cross-sectional area of the body portion, wherein the body portion is configured to be set in a hole formed in a frame piece of a weapon, and wherein the retainer tab is configured to extend above surface of the frame piece via a channel to restrict movement of a buffer of the weapon, which channel extends between the end surface of the hole and the said surface of the frame piece, and which channel has smaller diameter than the said hole. Modular gun stocks
The invention provides improved modular gun stocks and their methods of manufacture. Advantageously, gun stocks of the invention require fewer parts than conventional gun stocks. The lower stock supports of the improved modular gun stocks can be removed and replaced in multiple ways so that a variety of gun stocks can be created as desired. The invention also eliminates the undesirable rattling noise that modular gun stocks often have after assembly.

A buffer assembly is disclosed. The buffer assembly contains a buffer body, one or more magnets positioned along the buffer body, a hammer, a first spring, a spring guide, and an end cap removably coupled with the spring guide.
Ammunition convertible firearm
A firearm as disclosures herein comprises a main receiver body, a barrel, a breech bolt structure, a buffer assembly, a trigger group assembly, a bolt catch and at least one of an auto-sear, a magazine adapter and a breech bolt anti-rotation structure. The main receiver body is preferably of a monolithic construction whereby the handguard and breech bolt carrying bore can be manufactured from a single piece of material. The auto-sear is tripped by engagement with a buffer of the buffer assembly. The magazine adapter has an exterior surface structure engaged with a mating interior surface structure of a magazine well space of the main receiver body. A distal end portion of the breech bolt anti-rotation structure is engageable by the buffer for limiting forward travel of the buffer when the barrel is detached from the main receiver body.
