VARIABLE VELOCITY BARREL ASSEMBLY
A blaster for shooting projectiles that includes a housing that defines a housing interior, and a variable velocity barrel assembly positioned in the housing interior. The variable velocity barrel assembly includes a barrel that defines a barrel axis and a barrel interior. The barrel includes an exit opening at a distal end thereof. At least a first opening communicates the barrel interior with an exterior of the barrel. The first opening is defined through a side wall of the barrel. A slider member that includes a cylindrical portion that surrounds the barrel is movable axially along the barrel between a maximum velocity position where the cylindrical portion covers the first opening and a minimum velocity position where the slider member does not cover the first opening.

VALVE AND RESERVOIR SYSTEM FOR AIRSOFT GUN
An air reservoir system is provided that includes a switchable valve to direct input air to an air reservoir, or stored air in the air reservoir to a firing pathway. Various example embodiments of the present general inventive concept may also include an air-saver system to maintain a minimum air pressure in the air reservoir during a firing operation.
GAS POWERED GUN AND A PRESSURE TUBE FOR A GAS POWERED GUN
A gas powered gun and a pressure tube for a gas powered gun each comprises a gas regulator between a pressure chamber and a source of compressed gas. The gas regulator comprises a body forming first and second cylindrical portions connected to each other. The first cylindrical portion is in fluid connection with the pressure chamber. A piston is mounted for sliding movement in the first and second cylindrical portions. A valve seat is in the second cylindrical portion. An intermediate chamber is in the second cylindrical portion between the piston and the valve seat and in fluid connection with the source of compressed gas. A passageway through the piston connects the pressure chamber with the intermediate chamber. A biasing member presses the piston resiliently away from the valve seat. A valve seat adjusting mechanism is accessible to a user for adjusting a position of the valve seat.

Pressure regulator for paint ball gun
A pressure regulator for paint ball gun includes a first housing including a hollow projection on a first end surface, an axial channel through the projection, and a connector on a second end surface; an output pressure gauge on the first housing; a check valve on the first housing; a pressure regulation assembly including a sleeve fastened in the channel and having an axial tunnel, a biasing member in the tunnel, and a hub on the biasing member; a hollow second housing including an internal space with the projection disposed therein, and holes on an end, each hole having overlapping circular portions and of larger and smaller sizes; and fasteners through the overlapping circular portions of smaller size of the holes into the first housing. In an unfastened state of the second housing, the fasteners are through the overlapping circular portions of larger size of the holes.

Projectile delivery system with variable velocity control
A variable velocity pneumatic launcher including at least one chamber filled with a projectile. The launcher includes a ballast chamber filled with pressurized air released to propel a projectile from the launcher's barrel. The launcher includes a firing chamber filled with ambient air and a ballast chamber filled with pressurized air. A piston rod extends between the chambers and attaches to a firing piston and a ballast piston inside the firing chamber and ballast chamber, respectively. The rod is connected to a velocity valve which controls the rod's longitudinal movement. When the trigger is activated, pressurized air from the ballast chamber is delivered to the firing chamber. Because the surface area of the firing piston is greater than the ballast piston's surface area, the force exerted on the firing piston is sufficient to displace the ballast piston and allow pressurize air to be released into the upper chamber containing the projectile.
