Extendable baton with damage resistant locking mechanism
An extendable baton has a base section, at least one extendable section and a control rod. The base section may be tubular and have a lengthwise axis and an annular recess on an inner surface of a distal end and a release button on a proximal end. The extendable section may be tubular and nest inside the base section. The extendable section includes a locking clutch including a single slot disposed on the proximate end, a clutch plate disposed at least partially within the slot, the clutch plate including a locking portion, which engages the annular recess and a control aperture portion having an aperture, and at least one spring disposed to bias the clutch plate outwardly from the slot of the extendable section. The control rod is insertable through the aperture to retract the clutch plate when the release button is depressed.
End Cap Adapter for Baton
An adapter for a cylindrical end cap of a multi-section locking baton. The adapter has a non-cylindrical outer side surface thereby providing the end of the baton with a non-cylindrical outer side configuration, such as a wedge shape or a domed shape.
Telescopic baton
A telescopic baton is provided. The telescopic baton comprises a plurality of tubes sequentially arranged in an embedded manner, wherein a tube on an inner side of two adjacent tubes in the plurality of tubes is capable of extending and withdrawing along an axis direction of a tube on an outer side of the two adjacent tubes, a locking groove is formed in an inner wall of a first end of the tube on the outer side; a blade cam locking assembly, which comprises a socket sleeve, a plurality of blade cam blocks, a torsional spring and a fixing mechanism, wherein both extended ends of the torsional spring are respectively abutted against the socket sleeve and the blade cam block; an unlocking structure, which is mounted inside a tube on an outermost side of the plurality of tubes, and is used for unlocking the blade cam locking assembly.
Interlocking telescopic rod-type defense spray apparatus
An interlocking telescopic rod-type defense spray apparatus includes: a first tube body, a cap and a second tube body. The first tube body has a receiving chamber for placing an irritant gas can. The cap covers the receiving chamber. A rod body portion of the second tube body includes an upper tube, a lower tube, and a telescopic-rod packing device connecting the upper tube and the lower tube. Two sectioned tube pieces and a spring pin component and a push joint component between the two tube pieces are applied to lock and unlock a relative position relationship between the two tube pieces, so that the defense spray apparatus has composite functions of a rod-piece additional function of a locking configuration of relative positions of the two tube pieces and a press-lever spray irritant gas can of an unlocking configuration of the relative positions of the two tube pieces.
Expandable baton
Some embodiments of the disclosure provide an expandable baton, which includes a plurality of sleeves, a positioning ring, a plurality of locking pieces and an unlocking rod, wherein the plurality of sleeves are retractably disposed in sequence in a nesting manner; the positioning ring is provided with an avoiding hole; the plurality of locking pieces are disposed at intervals around a peripheral side of the positioning ring and enclose an avoiding space, first axial ends of the plurality of locking pieces extend into the sleeve positioned on an inner side, and second axial ends of the plurality of locking pieces extend out of the sleeve positioned on the inner side and are stuck in a sleeve, positioned on an outer side, of the two adjacent sleeves to lock two adjacent sleeves in an extending state.
Baton with external control button
An apparatus including a plurality of coaxially nesting tubes, a stowed position and extended position, a respective spring-loaded retainer located on a first end of at least some of the tubes, an outer edge of the retainer is coupled to a control aperture that retains the outer edge coincident with an outside annular edge of the respective tube and wherein release of the control aperture causes a spring to urge the outer edge radially outwards into the recess of the second end of the next adjacent outside tube and a rod having a control button on one end and a tapered tip on the opposing end, the rod is located inside and coaxial with the tubes with the button external to the tubes, the rod disengages the control aperture during deployment thereby causing the control button to abruptly pop outwards from the end of the outer most tube.
EXPANDABLE BATON
An expandable baton includes an internally threaded first tube; a first inner support tube disposed in the first tube and including first external threads secured to the internal threads of the first tube; a second inner support tube spaced from the first inner support tube with a first annular groove formed between them; a second lock mechanism at a first end of the second tube and including two second lock protuberances and a second externally threaded connection wherein the second externally threaded connection includes a second shoulder; a release mechanism including an axially moveable lock needle having a pointed second end and a pushbutton at a first end, a pressing of the pushbutton moves the lock needle to either insert into or disengage from the second lock mechanism, thereby unlocking the second lock protuberances or locking same; and a positioning member for limiting the release mechanism.
EXTENDABLE BATON WITH DAMAGE RESISTANT LOCKING MECHANISM
An extendable baton has a base section, at least one extendable section and a control rod. The extendable section may be tubular and nest inside the base section. The control rod is insertable through the aperture to retract the clutch plate when the release button is depressed.

An expandable baton includes an internally threaded first tube; a first inner support tube disposed in the first tube and including first external threads secured to the internal threads of the first tube; a second inner support tube spaced from the first inner support tube with a first annular groove formed between them; a second lock mechanism at a first end of the second tube; a first lock mechanism at a first end of the first tube; a release mechanism including an axially moveable lock needle having a pointed second end, a pushbutton and a spring, a pressing of the pushbutton moves the lock needle to either insert into or disengage from the second lock mechanism, thereby unlocking the second lock protuberances or locking same; and a positioning member for limiting the release mechanism.
Extendable Baton With Locking Mechanism
An extendable baton includes first and second telescoping tube sections, the first tube section having two inner circumferential grooves near one end. A cam assembly is carried by the second tube section for selectively locking the first and second tube sections to each other. The cam assembly includes two radially movable cams each having two lands and a groove therebetween. The two cams are movable radially relative to each other between a locked position in which the lands on the two cams are engaged in the grooves in the tube section, and an unlocked position in which the lands on the two cams are displaced radially inward from the grooves on the tube to enable relative axial movement of the first and second tube sections.
