ARCHERY EXTENSION BAR
20230021845 · 2023-01-26 ·

An archery extension bar that attenuates vibration transmitted to a fixing portion due to vibration caused by restoration of a bow part after shooting of an arrow. The archery extension bar (3) includes: a support portion (9) having a predetermined length; a fixing portion (10), which is located on one end side of the support portion (9) in a longitudinal direction, and is configured to be fixed to a bow part (1); and a mounting portion (11), which is located on another end side of the support portion, and is configured to allow a sight (5) to be mounted thereto. The support portion has a small vertical sectional area portion (13), which has a vertical sectional area smaller than a vertical sectional area of the fixing portion and extends over an entire range or a part of a range of the support portion in the longitudinal direction.

MATERIALS FOR USE IN ARCHERY EQUIPMENT

An archery bow can include a riser, a first limb coupled to the riser, a second limb coupled to the riser, a string extending between the first and second limb, and Non-Newtonian material (NN material). The NN material can be incorporated into at least one of the riser, the first limb, the second limb, the string, or another component of the archery bow. The NN material can have a material property (e.g., viscosity) which varies relative to a stress or force applied to the NN material. One or more portions of NN material can additionally, or alternatively, be incorporated into a projectile (e.g., an arrow) for an archery bow, an archery target or other archery equipment.

Archery bowstring weights and related method of use
11598602 · 2023-03-07 · ·

An archery bowstring weight is provided including a sleeve that is encapsulated and suspended at least partially within an overmolded polymeric body forming an exterior of the bowstring weight. The sleeve can be a metal body, such as a ring, that floats or moves inside the polymeric body when the bowstring vibrates to dampen vibration of the bowstring. The sleeve can be isolated or separated from the bowstring by an inner wall of the polymeric body that is disposed between the bowstring and the sleeve when the weight is installed on the bowstring. The oscillation of the sleeve inside the overmolded polymeric body also can attenuate string oscillation and reduce string noise. A related method is provided.
