Archery release
An archery release that includes, in one embodiment, a tension activated wrist strap index finger trigger release is provided. The trigger release includes a housing, a tension release assembly, and a trigger assembly. The tension release assembly is configured to alternate between a first state when the pulling force is below a predetermined threshold and a second state when the pulling force is above a predetermined threshold. The trigger assembly is configured to selectively activate the tension release assembly.
Grip for an archery release
A grip for an archery release includes a clip formed as a coil spring having a cross arm that is pivotally mounted to a plate to enable a cross-arm of the coil spring to be selectively positioned along different sides of the plate to change the orientation of the clip with respect to the grip.
Archery release device and method operable to generate a pulling force
An archery release device and method operable to generate a pulling force are described herein. The archery release device, in an embodiment, includes a body, at least one element moveably coupled to the body, and a force generator coupled to the body. The force generator is configured to apply a pulling force that pulls the at least one element. As a result of the archery release device being uncocked, the force generator is configured to cause the at least one element to move relative to the body.
Pull tension archery release
A pull tension archery release includes a housing having a longitudinal axis and a sear assembly configured by engaging a bow string. A sear is arranged within the housing for reciprocal movement along the longitudinal axis between hold and fire positions to engage and release a rotary bail which grips the bow string. When pull tension is applied to the sear, the sear is displaced to release the bail and fire an arrow. The sear assembly is adjustable to enable the release to operate in both pull tension and relax trigger modes.
Archery release aid
A back tension archery release aid including a rotatable safety release lever. The safety release lever is engaged and operated by the outer fingers of an archer. Once an archer achieves full draw, the release lever is operated by the archer's outer fingers to lock a portion of a release head assembly in place. Further rotation of the release releases the bowstring and fires an arrow. Certain back tension release aid embodiments include magnets which assist in holding a sear and bridge together within the release head assembly prior to releasing an arrow and assist in resetting the release after an arrow is released.
Back-tension handheld archery release
A back-tension handheld archery release includes a handle and a sear assembly adjustably connected with the handle to lengthen and shorten a head release distance. The sear assembly includes a first sear and a click sear which is adjustable to control a click distance prior to firing a shot. In addition, the degree of rotation of the first and click sears relative to the head is adjustable to control the head speed of the sear assembly when the release is operated to release a bowstring and fire a shot.
Range finder with bow release
The range finder bow release may comprise a cuff, a support armature, a bow release, and a range finder. The cuff may be adapted to be worn on a forearm of an archer. The support armature may be coupled to the cuff and may be adapted to position the bow release adjacent to a hand of the archer. The bow release may be a mechanical aid for releasing a bow string more precisely than the archer's fingers. The range finder may be an optical instrument that is operable to determine the distance to a target. The range finder may be coupled to the cuff and may be adapted to be used by the archer when the archer bends an elbow, brings the range finder up to an eye, and views the target through the range finder.
Release holster apparatus and method
An apparatus having a release holster apparatus including: an elongated strap; a pocket between first and second sections of cloth material, attached to the elongated strap; and a flap attached to the elongated strap; wherein the pocket has top and bottom openings; wherein the flap has a first end attached nearer the top than the bottom opening: wherein the flap has a second end opposing the first end of the flap; wherein the flap in an open state does not cover any part of the top opening of the pocket; and wherein the flap is configured to be placed in a closed state in which the flap covers part, but not the entirety of the top opening of the pocket, and wherein a section of the flap is attached to a portion of the first section of cloth material of the pocket.
Archery release aid mount
An archery release aid mount includes an attachment mechanism configured to rigidly attach the archery release aid to a bow. A securing device is configured to receive an archery release aid. The securing device includes a securing device that upon the archery release aid mount receiving the archery release aid, holds the archery release aid securely, and that is configured to allow a user to without tools remove the archery release aid from the archery release aid mount when the user wants to use the archery release aid during archery.
Bowstring release
A bowstring release includes a body, a jaw, a trigger, first and second biasing elements, and a back tension adjustment apparatus having a sheath, a tension adjustment rod, a tension adjustment knob, and a back tension biasing element. Moving the jaw into a channel of the body cocks the release. Pulling the trigger releases the bowstring.
