Archery bowstring weights and related method of use
11598602 · 2023-03-07 · ·

An archery bowstring weight is provided including a sleeve that is encapsulated and suspended at least partially within an overmolded polymeric body forming an exterior of the bowstring weight. The sleeve can be a metal body, such as a ring, that floats or moves inside the polymeric body when the bowstring vibrates to dampen vibration of the bowstring. The sleeve can be isolated or separated from the bowstring by an inner wall of the polymeric body that is disposed between the bowstring and the sleeve when the weight is installed on the bowstring. The oscillation of the sleeve inside the overmolded polymeric body also can attenuate string oscillation and reduce string noise. A related method is provided.

An attachment for a compound bow that allows for improved carrying of the compound bow when a user has the bow in a non-shooting position. The attachment attaches to the compound bow at the threaded stabilizer receiver. The attachment can be attached to a stabilizer, or alternatively can have an extension that directly threads to the stabilizer receiver of the compound bow. The attachment can clip to a standard receiver, or alternatively can be threaded to an end of the stabilizer. The attachment can be configured such that a counterbalance weight can be attached to the attachment. The attachment is generally in a U shape or similar shape that allows for the arm or hand of a user to be positioned within the attachment.

String bumper for arrow-propelling device
09835402 · 2017-12-05 · ·

A bumper for limiting a string displacement on a projectile accelerating apparatus is described for absorbing vibrations thereof, the bumper comprising an hollowed body including an opening portion at a first end of the body, an expansion portion inside the hollowed body and adjacent to the opening portion, a damper portion adjacent to the expansion portion inside the hollowed body, the damper portion including a volume of air that is compressible when the opening portion is closed, and a string-contacting portion disposed on an exterior surface of a second end of the body, the distal wall and the string-contacting portion being moveable toward the opening portion to compress the volume of air in the damper portion in consequence of a string contact on the string-contacting portion. A projectile accelerating apparatus including same and a method of using same are also presented.

String damper having aperture

A bow string vibration and noise damper includes an aperture and a body portion. The string vibration and noise damper is configured to be mounted on the bowstring. In this way, a closed loop is created by inserting at least a portion of the body portion through the aperture. The closed loop encircles a portion of the bowstring thereby attaching the string vibration and noise damper to the bowstring.

Archery bow concealment accessory

A stabilizer comprises at least two tubes, a first end cap comprising a fastening member formed on a proximal end of one of the at least two tubes wherein the end cap is formed to fixedly engage with a bow, a compression fitting for rigidly fixing the at least two tubes together, and a second end cap comprising a fastening member formed on a distal end of one of the at least two tubes wherein the second end cap is formed to fixedly engage with at least one weight.

Bow stabilizers with magnetic damping
11428497 · 2022-08-30 · ·

Aspects of the present disclosure deal with stabilizers for an archery bow which incorporate a magnetic damping assembly. In one form, the stabilizer includes a housing having a length defining a proximal end and a distal end, wherein the proximal end is configured to secure the housing to an archery bow. A ferromagnetic mass formed of a ferromagnetic material is arranged adjacent the distal end of the housing. A magnet is also arranged adjacent the distal end of the housing. The magnet and the mass are spaced a preset distance apart. The ferromagnetic mass is able to oscillate relative to the magnet when vibrations are transferred to the stabilizer. The magnetic field applies a drag force which dampens the oscillation of the magnet relative to the ferromagnetic mass.

Stabilizer shock mount
09766033 · 2017-09-19 ·

A stabilizer shock mount attachable to a bow stabilizer assists in quieting the stabilizer during the drawing of a bow and after the bow is fired. The stabilizer shock mount has a first end attachable to the bow and a second end attachable to the bow stabilizer. The stabilizer shock mount allows the bow stabilizer to flex such that the vibrations from the bow stabilizer will not be transferred back to the bow. Additionally, when drawing the bow, the stabilizer shock mount allows the bow stabilizer to achieve stillness more quickly.
