Incapacitating Chemical Agent Dispersal Using a Portable Electronic Device
A portable electronic device that selectively deploys a liquid incapacitating chemical agent is described. During operation, the portable electronic device receives or provides a trigger signal. For example, the portable electronic device may include a trigger (such as a mechanical or an electronic trigger), and the portable electronic device may provide the trigger signal when the trigger is activated. Alternatively or additionally, the portable electronic device may provide the trigger signal when an individual is detected in proximity or may receive the trigger signal via wireless communication. In response to the trigger signal, a control circuit provides a control signal to a pump. Then, based at least in part on the control signal, the pump transfers the liquid incapacitating chemical agent from a reservoir to a nozzle. Next, the nozzle discharges the liquid incapacitating chemical agent, e.g., in a stream, where the stream is external to the portable electronic device.
Fluid jet stabilizing projectile for enhanced IED disrupters
A propellant driven disrupter (PDD) for disrupting an explosive target, comprising: a disrupter barrel having a breech and muzzle end; a projectile liquid or gas positioned in the barrel and extending a longitudinal distance in the disrupter barrel. The projectile liquid distal end is located farthest from the disrupter barrel breech end. A jet stabilizing projectile (JSP) is at least partially positioned in the barrel and operably contacts the projectile liquid distal end. The JSP has a JSP proximal end facing toward the disrupter barrel breech end and a distal end opposed to the JSP proximal end, wherein some or all of the JSP is positioned in the barrel. The PDD may contain the JSP, with an air region between the JSP distal end and the muzzle end, or an air region in an adapter that is connected to the muzzle end. Also provided are JSP's having improved flight stability for use with liquid or air-filled disrupters and methods of disrupting a target.
Unidirectional, sprinkler-type, antipersonnel-fragmentation-free fire-extinguishing bomb
The invention discloses a unidirectional spray type fire extinguishing bomb without high explosive fragmentation, includes a housing, a fuse, an igniter, an fire extinguishing agent and a main charge, and further includes a tail braking device, combustor, a plate closure, a piston and a diffuser. The housing, the tail braking device and the piston are made of light metal materials; the housing is cylindrical; the tail braking device is arranged at the bottom of the housing and is fixed with the housing through a screw nail; and the fuse is arranged on the diffuser and is fixed through a screw nail. During working process, when the fuse detects the fire extinguishing bomb to be 5-10 meters far away from a combustion source, the igniter ignites the main charge, the piston is pushed under high pressure to move in the housing, and the fire extinguishing agent is sprayed out from spraying holes to the combustion source for fire extinguishing. The present invention has simple structure, and has no lethality when the fire extinguishing agent is sprayed.
Method and Apparatus For Rendering Safe Unexploded Ordnance
A system for rendering safe unexploded military ordnance items found on land by use of a portable apparatus employing entrainment waterjet technology. The portable apparatus includes a tool package containing a plurality of tools designed for accessing the interior of a unexploded ordnance item. The interior of the ordnance item is accessed, and its internal contents, which it typically an energetic material, is washed-out and recovered.
Interlocking telescopic rod-type defense spray apparatus
An interlocking telescopic rod-type defense spray apparatus includes: a first tube body, a cap and a second tube body. The first tube body has a receiving chamber for placing an irritant gas can. The cap covers the receiving chamber. A rod body portion of the second tube body includes an upper tube, a lower tube, and a telescopic-rod packing device connecting the upper tube and the lower tube. Two sectioned tube pieces and a spring pin component and a push joint component between the two tube pieces are applied to lock and unlock a relative position relationship between the two tube pieces, so that the defense spray apparatus has composite functions of a rod-piece additional function of a locking configuration of relative positions of the two tube pieces and a press-lever spray irritant gas can of an unlocking configuration of the relative positions of the two tube pieces.
Drone payload—energetic weapons pod
A lightweight energetic weapons pod 2 that integrates to unmanned aerial systems 1 that enables the operator the ability to engage targets without flight degradation. The device utilizes an energetic weapons pod 2 that may be reloaded to support sustained combat operations. The ability of the device to function as intended is based on explosive mitigation compression zones and recoilless configurations that allow drone survivability during detonation events.
Shotgun Hydroblasting System
A shotgun hydroblasting system includes a chassis. A motor is operable to drive movement of the chassis. A support arm assembly is mounted to the chassis. A shotgun nozzle mounted to the support arm assembly such that the shotgun nozzle is movable relative to the chassis on the support arm assembly. The shotgun nozzle includes a barrel defining a primary outlet for pressurized fluid and a suppressor defining a secondary outlet for the pressurized fluid. The barrel and the suppressor are positioned and oriented such that a force of the pressurized fluid exiting the secondary outlet opposes a force of the pressurized fluid exiting the primary outlet.

UNDERWATER CUT AND CAPTURE SYSTEM FOR SUBMERGED MUNITIONS
A system for dismantling submerged munitions is disclosed. The system includes a cleaning tool, a cutting tool, and a washout tool. The cleaning tool is configured to clean a surface of a submerged munition using a high-pressure water jet, and the cutting tool is configured to cut a hole in a submerged munition using a high-pressure abrasive water jet. The washout tool removes contents of the munition using one or more high pressure water jets. The system further includes a frame that houses the cleaning tool, the cutting tool, and the washout tool. The system may be lowered to the ocean floor and includes positioning mechanisms to position the cleaning tool, the cutting tool, and the washout tool relative to the munition to be dismantled. The system is configured to safely capture contents of submerged munitions to prevent release of the contents of the munition into the environment.
