Accuracy ring for firearms
A ring accessory for a firearm, such as a pistol or a long gun, includes an upper portion configured to attach to a frame of the firearm beneath a barrel and forward of a trigger guard. A vertical portion extends vertically downward from the upper portion, and a horizontal portion is connected to the vertical portion, extending horizontally therefrom toward the trigger guard. The vertical portion and the horizontal portion, together, define a horizontally-elongated aperture configured to be gripped by two or more fingers of a non-shooting hand of a user, with the two or more fingers extending horizontally therethrough, and with a palm of the non-shooting hand supporting the firearm from beneath the horizontal portion. A method for holding a firearm by a person using a compact shooting stance is also provided.

A thumb rest mechanism for a firearm having a frame, providing a thumb rest mount secured to the frame and having a mount member defining a mount surface. A thumb rest being releasably secured to the mount member in engagement with the mount surface and having a thumb engaging surface oriented at a suitable angle for recoil resisting engagement by the thumb of a firearm user and being of roughened character for non-slip engagement by the thumb of the firearm user. A protective plate extending from the thumb rest a protecting the users thumb from contact and potential damage by a moveable firearm component.

A dual magazine release system for a firearm has a housing attachable to a firearm. The housing includes first and second magazine holders, the first magazine holder positioned to retain a first magazine to feed ammunition to the firearm and the second magazine holder positioned in front of a trigger of the firearm and configured to retain a spare second magazine. A magazine retaining and release system is coupled to the housing and configured to retain the first magazine in the first magazine holder and to retain the second magazine in the second magazine holder and to selectively release the first magazine or the second magazine independently from one another or to substantially simultaneously release the first and second magazines from the first and second magazine holders, respectively, upon actuation of the magazine retaining and release system by a user.

PISTOL PIVOTING BRACE ASSEMBLY
A firearm attachment member includes a firearm mounting structure which includes a receiver support shelf for supporting thereon a receiver of a firearm. The firearm attachment member includes left and right halves, arranged for securing the firearm between the left and right halves, each of the left and right halves extending along a longitudinal axis corresponding to a longitudinal firing axis of the firearm. One of the left and right halves pivots in azimuth with respect to the longitudinal axis about a firearm attachment member pivot located rearward of the firearm mounting structure. Each of the left and right halves includes a forward fastening flange configured to be mounted below the receiver and in front of the trigger guard of the firearm. The forward fastening flanges are fastened together with a fastener.
PISTOL PIVOTING BRACE ASSEMBLY
A firearm attachment member includes a firearm mounting structure which includes a receiver support shelf for supporting thereon a receiver of a firearm. The firearm attachment member includes left and right halves, arranged for securing the firearm between the left and right halves, each of the left and right halves extending along a longitudinal axis corresponding to a longitudinal firing axis of the firearm. One of the left and right halves pivots in azimuth with respect to the longitudinal axis about a firearm attachment member pivot located rearward of the firearm mounting structure. Each of the left and right halves includes a forward fastening flange configured to be mounted below the receiver and in front of the trigger guard of the firearm. The forward fastening flanges are fastened together with a fastener.
Pistol-to-rifle conversion kit
A pistol-to-rifle conversion kit (100) includes a rifle body (26) that includes a lower receiver (28), which includes a grip mounting portion (30), which is rearwardly adjacent to a trigger guard (32), which is rearwardly adjacent to a magazine well receiving portion (34). An auxiliary trigger (46) is sliding mounted in the rifle body (26) and includes an elongate member (48) and a forward trigger interface member (50), which extends from a forward portion of the elongate member (48) and which is configured to interface with a trigger (13) of a pistol (14) mounted in the rifle body (26), and a trigger member (56) which extends from the elongate member (48) for directly contacting a shooter's finger.

A pistol-to-rifle conversion kit (100) includes a rifle body (26) that includes a lower receiver (28), which includes a grip mounting portion (30), which is rearwardly adjacent to a trigger guard (32), which is rearwardly adjacent to a magazine well receiving portion (34). An auxiliary trigger (46) is sliding mounted in the rifle body (26) and includes an elongate member (48) and a forward trigger interface member (50), which extends from a forward portion of the elongate member (48) and which is configured to interface with a trigger (13) of a pistol (14) mounted in the rifle body (26), and a trigger member (56) which extends from the elongate member (48) for directly contacting a shooter's finger.
