FOOTMAN LOOP CLIP
A footman loop clip includes a body and a bend formed in the body such that an end of the body is inboard of the bend, the body having an aperture. A pin passes through the aperture and has a pin head on one end, and a pull feature on the other end. A spring biases the pull feature toward the body. The pull feature is biased toward the body and when the pull feature is pulled a gap is formed and increased between the pin head and the end of the body.
Retention clip
A retainer clip including a body having a first end, second end, top, bottom, first side and second side. An arm extends from the body at a junction on the second end of the body. The arm is preferably folded so as to extend along the bottom of the body such that the arm is spaced from the body. The body includes an aperture which extends through the body from the top to the bottom. A stop pin is positioned in the aperture and is capable of extending into the space between the bottom of the body and the arm.
Adjustable Fastening System
An adjustable fastening system comprising a mounting bracket, wherein said mounting side comprises an outer flange, an inner raised portion, and a plurality of retention pegs; a clip, wherein a side of said clip comprises a plurality of retention holes; and a fastener; wherein said clip is operable to be mounted to said mounting bracket such that said retention holes receive said retention pegs; and wherein said fastener is operable to secure said clip to said mounting bracket such that said mounting bracket and said clip are secured to one another.
Aerial marksman rig
An aerial marksman rig includes a cross-leg, and may further include upright legs, secured to an airframe for stabilizing weapon use.
Weapon Sling System, Weapon System and Related Method of Carrying and Securing a Weapon
A weapon sling system includes a weapon harness, including a weapon retention strap having a first connector adapted for connection to a weapon at a first point, and a retracting lanyard having a second connector adapted for connection to the weapon at a second point. A weapon system includes the weapon sling system and the weapon carried by that weapon sling system. In addition a method of carrying and securing a weapon includes steps of: (a) securing a weapon harness about a shoulder and torso of a user, (b) securing a retracting lanyard at a waist of the user, (c) connecting a weapon retention strap of the weapon harness to the weapon at a first point and (d) connecting a lanyard cord of the retracting lanyard to the weapon at a second point.
Connector
An accessory mounting interface and method are disclosed. The interface has an upper portion having a firearm accessory and at least one through hole extending from a first surface to a second surface of the upper portion, the upper portion having a first post portion with a first side surface and a first flange. A first elongated fastener is arranged through the through hole and has a first end extending below the second surface of the upper portion. The interface also has a second post portion that is movable between a first configuration defining a first transverse distance between the first and second side surfaces and a second configuration defining a second transverse distance between the first and second side surfaces, the first transverse distance greater than the second transverse distance. The first flange substantially opposes the second flange when the second post portion is in the first configuration.
Equipment retention system
A retention system for equipment includes a base plate assembly and an adapter assembly securable to the equipment. The adapter assembly interface includes a locking recess The base plate assembly includes a base plate and an adapter assembly guide adjacent the base plate for receiving the interface therein thereby coupling the adapter assembly with the base plate assembly. The base plate assembly further includes a locking mechanism movable between an engaged position and a disengaged position. The locking mechanism in the engaged position engages the locking recess of the interface, thereby locking the adapter assembly with the base plate assembly. The locking mechanism in the disengaged position disengages from the locking recess of the interface, thereby unlocking the adapter assembly from the base plate assembly.
EQUIPMENT RETENTION SYSTEM
A retention system for equipment includes a base plate assembly and an adapter assembly securable to the equipment. The adapter assembly includes an interface includes having a locking recess. The base plate assembly includes a base plate and an adapter assembly guide adjacent the base plate for receiving the interface therein thereby coupling the adapter assembly with the base plate assembly.
Moveable Clip
Representative implementations of devices and techniques provide a multi-purpose clip. In various embodiments, the clip may be used to temporarily or permanently couple an item to a support object, such as a holster to an article of clothing, for instance. The clip comprises a loop portion arranged to be coupled to the support object and a key portion arranged to be coupled to the supported item, via a keyhole at the supported item.
