FIREARM SLING AND PADDED REST
20230044207 · 2023-02-09 ·

A firearm sling includes a shooting rest. The shooting rest may include a bifurcated cavity filled with deformable media. The bifurcated cavity defines a trough along at least a portion of a length of the shooting rest. The firearm sling may be coupled to a firearm to facilitate carrying the firearm over a shoulder or across a torso, the shooting rest providing padding for comfort in carrying the firearm as well as a support for the firearm to improve marksmanship.

Holster Dock

Representative implementations of devices and techniques provide a mounting dock to receive and to support an implement (such as a handgun, for example) or an implement holster (such as a handgun holster, for example). The dock includes a substantially planar mount portion having two substantially planar surfaces opposite to each other and a plurality of side edges. The substantially planar mount portion includes an entry edge on a first side edge and a grip portion on a second side edge. The dock includes at least one hard mount base configured to temporarily or permanently couple the hard mount component to a selected surface in a variety of configurations.

Wearable pouch for carrying a handgun holster

A wearable belt pouch for concealingly carrying a handgun and holster combination. The belt pouch has a body panel hingedly joined to a front panel having a peripheral side wall. The front panel is configured to be swung upwardly from a closed position to an open position to expose the body panel and form a first access opening. Magnetic closures on each of the front panel and the body panel are configured to releasably secure the front panel to the body panel when the front panel is in the closed position. A holster engagement strip is formed in a V-shape and secured to the outer face of the body panel, wherein the holster engagement strip has a width sized for engagement with the belt clip of the holster. A second access opening in the peripheral side wall is configured to provide access to the handgun in the pouch interior.

SLING ADJUSTMENT AND A WEAPON SLING INCLUDING THE SLING ADJUSTMENT
20230016382 · 2023-01-19 ·

The disclosure provides a sling adjustment for increased reliability and performance compared to conventional cam and slide adjustments. The disclosed sling adjustment is a single hardware piece that includes a slider and a cam. The sling adjustment includes an antilock wedge to prevent or at least reduce binding when using the sliding feature in the tightening direction. Extruded pins are also disclosed that can reduce the cost and the number of components that are needed for reliable performance. In one example, the sling adjustment includes: (1) a slider having a pair of side walls, and (2) a cam, positioned within the pair of side walls, having an antilock wedge and a center slider bar, wherein the antilock wedge is located on a forward side of the center slider bar.

Carry Assist Harness System

A carry harness system includes a support belt arranged to encircle a user's waist; a shoulder harness arranged to lay over the user's shoulders on opposite sides of the user's head; two front belt support straps arranged to be on a front side of the user and extending between the shoulder harness and the support belt; two rear belt support straps arranged to be on a rear side of the user and extending between the shoulder harness and the support belt; two post receivers supported on the support belt on the rear side; and two posts. The posts are arranged spaced-apart on the rear side, fit into the receivers and extending vertically between the post receivers and a vertical elevation above the shoulder harness. The two posts are fixed to the shoulder harness and have strap connections at tops of the posts. Two object support straps extend between the strap connections forwardly and obliquely to attachments on a rear side of the object to be carried.

Buckle assembly with dual frictional levels
11530895 · 2022-12-20 · ·

A firearm strap buckle assembly includes an inlet end portion and an outlet end portion. A main tensioner bar is medially located within the buckle assembly and having upward facing surface of a first width and a downward facing surface of a second width greater than the first width. A first supporting tensioner bar is located between the inlet end and the main tensioner bar. A second supporting tensioner bar is located between the main tensioner bar and the outlet end. A first strap path is defined where the strap is positioned downwardly of the main tensioner bar. A second strap path is defined where the strap is positioned upwardly of the main tensioner bar. Frictional forces imparted to the strap when arranged within the first strap path are greater than frictional forces imparted to the strap when arranged within the second path strap.

A retainer clip including a body having a first end, second end, top, bottom, first side and second side. An arm extends from the body at a junction on the second end of the body. The arm is preferably folded so as to extend along the bottom of the body such that the arm is spaced from the body. The body includes an aperture which extends through the body from the top to the bottom. A stop pin is positioned in the aperture and is capable of extending into the space between the bottom of the body and the arm.

Hands-free long-gun carrier

Provided is a hands-free long-gun carrying device having a support plate supported at a user's chest and a gripping structure on the support plate configured to releasably engage and support a long-gun in a ready position. The gripping structure includes first and second jaw members substantially open toward a front direction. At least one of the jaw members is resiliently deflectable to receive and grip a porting of a long-gun inserted between the jaw members.

Load distribution systems and load carrying equipment
11596219 · 2023-03-07 ·

A load carrying and force distributing device to be worn on a user's limb is described. The device has one or more support members and a plurality of elongated compression members that couple with each of the support members at locations that are circumferentially spaced around the user's limb. The space between the plurality of compression members provides a relief area. The load carrying and force distributing device compresses the soft tissue of the limb against the bone structure to thereby reduce motion of the bone structure towards a wall of the load carrying and force distributing device when worn on the limb. A method of fitting a load carrying and force distributing device to a limb is also described. The method includes coupling the elongated compression members to each of the support members and adjusting compression to thereby reduce motion of the bone towards a wall of the device.
