A pistol mount assembly includes a clip body, a retaining body, a latch assembly and a locking cylinder. The clip body secures the retaining body to a person or object. The retaining body is optionally removable from the clip body and includes the latch assembly and the locking cylinder. At least one of the latch assembly and the locking cylinder pass within a trigger guard area of the firearm. The space between the trigger guard and the trigger is filled thereby preventing misfire. One or more latches or locking bolts are used to selectively overlap the trigger guard and/or trigger to prevent translation of the firearm off the retaining body. A two-tiered readiness function is realized through the pistol mount assembly. The assembly uses no holster but maintains effective securement of the firearm and is easily pulled at time of emergency.

Apparatus and associated methods relate to a firearm lock configured to release a self-hardening interlock fluid into a firing chamber of a firearm in response to a predetermined force. In an illustrative example, the firearm lock may include an engagement module configured to releasably couple to a firing chamber of the firearm. In a locked mode, for example, the engagement module may prevent the firearm from firing. The firearm lock may include, for example, a tamper interlock module containing interlock material (IM) in a fluid state. When a predetermined force is applied to the tamper interlock module, for example, the IM may be dispensed from the cavity into the firing chamber and the IM may at least partially transition into a solid state such that the IM prevents the firearm from firing. Various embodiments may advantageously disable a locked firearm in response to tampering with the lock.

THUMB-ACTUATED LOCKING HOLSTER

A holster for receiving and withdrawing a handgun has a proximal wall portion with a handgun retention mechanism thereon. The mechanism having a first lever with a tab portion for actuation and release of a trigger guard, the lever having a snap fit into a lever region without a separate pin. A belt engaging member covers the lever region capturing the first lever therein. If a second retention mechanism is used, another lever with a tab portion is positioned so the tabs are stacked, depressing one also depresses the tab behind it, such that both mechanisms are released. Overmolded polymer layers in the holster body provides a softer interior handgun engagement surfaces. The holster body is split forwardly with a threaded fastener for clamping onto the handgun. No holster body is beneath or rearward of the tab portion, configured as a thumb button, allowing smooth transition to gripping the handgun.

More specifically, the present invention relates to a combination weapon holster device primarily comprised of a holster body with a first opening, a second opening, and a divider wall in addition to a retention assembly within the holster body. The first opening of the holster body preferably receives a pistol. The second opening of the holster body preferably receives a stun gun. The retention assembly engages the pistol within the holster body when a stun gun is inserted into the body after a pistol. When a stun gun is holstered within the body, the retention assembly does not allow the pistol to be drawn from the body unless the stun gun is fully removed from the body or partially removed such that the retention assembly is disengaged.

A holster system for receiving and releasably retaining a handgun with or without a reflex sight mounted thereon. The holster body comprises a pair of opposing side wall portions and an upper wall portion. The holster body may define a rear accessory sight opening for receiving the handgun with the reflex sight attached thereto. The holster system may include a first rear sight cover selectively and robustly coupleable to the holster body so as to cover the rear accessory sight opening when a handgun with conventional sights extending upwardly about ⅜ of an inch or less mounted thereto is used in conjunction with the holster system. The holster system may also include a second rear sight cover selectively coupleable to the holster body so as to cover the sight opening when a handgun with a reflex sight mounted thereto is used in conjunction with the holster system.

A slider attached to the firearm holster slides on the slider base from a locked position to an unlocked position upon pressing the triggering lever. A spring-biased resettable drop lock is pivotally connected to a resettable drop lock mount attached to the holster and extends into an ejection port of a firearm secured in the firearm holster. The resettable drop lock pivots out of the ejection port of the firearm in the firearm holster by contact with the slider as the slider moves from a locked position into an unlocked position. A secondary lock includes a helical lock shaft disposed within a secondary lock body and extends from the lock body to rotate a secondary lock from a locked position to an unlocked position.
