An optical aiming device including a first multi-faceted optical element lying on an axis and a second multi-faceted optical element juxtaposed to the first multi-faceted optical element and angled with respect thereto, the first and second optical elements each being characterized by a refractive index and a critical angle defining at least one total internal reflection plane formed by at least one facet of each one of the first and second optical elements, the at least one facet having an optical interference coating formed thereon, each one of the first and second optical elements causing light impinging on the at least one total internal reflection plane at an angle greater than or equal to the critical angle to be totally reflected and light impinging on the at least one total internal reflection plane at an angle less than the critical angle to be partially reflected and partially refracted, the totally reflected light illuminating a first region, the partially reflected light partially illuminating a second region, a demarcation being defined between the first and second regions, the first and second optical elements being oriented such that the demarcations of the first and second optical elements intersect at a point lying substantially along the axis.
BIOMETRIC DETECTION OF AIMING POINT AND BARREL STABILIZATION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FIREARMS
At least one sensor is configured to detect a user aiming at a point and movement of the firearm. A processor is provided to process and analyse movement data obtained wherein the at least one sensor is adapted to measure a movement deviation from the line of sight between an eye of the user and the point of aim of the firearm. At least one electro-mechanical actuator to apply a correction to the barrel as to maintain aim on the intended point of aim.
BIOMETRIC DETECTION OF AIMING POINT AND BARREL STABILIZATION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FIREARMS
At least one sensor is configured to detect a user aiming at a point and movement of the firearm. A processor is provided to process and analyse movement data obtained wherein the at least one sensor is adapted to measure a movement deviation from the line of sight between an eye of the user and the point of aim of the firearm. At least one electro-mechanical actuator to apply a correction to the barrel as to maintain aim on the intended point of aim.
Aiming system comprising a screen covered with a tactile interface and corresponding aiming method
The invention provides an aiming system comprising a display control unit connected to a screen having a surface that is covered at least in part by a touch interface, the display control unit being arranged to inlay an aiming frame in the images displayed on the screen. According to the invention, the display control unit is arranged to: inlay a control zone in a portion of the touch interface; and to move the aiming frame on the screen as a function of a contact exerted on the touch interface in the control zone. The invention also provides an aiming method implemented with such a system.
Aiming system comprising a screen covered with a tactile interface and corresponding aiming method
The invention provides an aiming system comprising a display control unit connected to a screen having a surface that is covered at least in part by a touch interface, the display control unit being arranged to inlay an aiming frame in the images displayed on the screen. According to the invention, the display control unit is arranged to: inlay a control zone in a portion of the touch interface; and to move the aiming frame on the screen as a function of a contact exerted on the touch interface in the control zone. The invention also provides an aiming method implemented with such a system.
REFLEX SIGHT WITH CANT INDICATING RETICLE DISPLAY
In one aspect, a sighting device for a weapon includes an orientation sensor configured to detect a weapon cant, a display having one or more visual indicators, and a processor. The processor is configured to receive information regarding weapon cant from the orientation sensor and is further configured to control the one or more visual indicators of the display output to provide a visual indication of excessive weapon cant. In a further aspect, a method of sighting a target is provided.

The mobile turret has many advantages such as easy to carry, light weight, quickly assembled/operable, the operator can hide behind the protection or in the trenches, and will increase firepower to overwhelm and destroy the enemy.
