Tire Spiker
20230089929 · 2023-03-23 ·

The tire spiker is a L-shaped device deployable to a U-shaped deployed configuration having a first and second spike portion adapted to surround a tire on the front and back with a plurality of spikes held in a generally vertical disposition adjacent the tire tread. The tire spiker comprises a pair of L-shaped arms pivotally connected at one end to open to a U-shaped deployed configuration. Each of the L-shaped arms comprises a spacer and a spike portion. The spacers are hinged together. Each spike portion is on a respective spacer in a generally perpendicular disposition. Each spike portion comprises a spike side and a road side. Some of the plurality of spikes and a plurality of spike chambers are disposed in the road side of each spike portion. The spike chambers are adapted to receive a respective spike from the other spike portion in the carry configuration.

Surface mount security barrier

A security barrier includes a plurality of barrier islands. Each barrier island has a concrete crash block having at least one pair of opposing side faces and external fixing elements on the opposing side faces. Attachments, which may be flexible attachments, extend between the external fixing elements of adjacent barrier islands of the security barrier. Each barrier island also has one or more load transfer element within the concrete crash block and, under load, the load transfer elements transfer load from the external fixing elements on one side of the concrete crash block to the external fixing elements on the opposing side of the concrete crash block.

An anti-ramming truck barrier element may include: an essentially horizontal arresting bar, and an essentially vertical pivot bar. The vertical pivot bar has at least three fasteners distributed along the length of each side. The arresting bar is rigidly connected to the pivot bar. Connecting bars are pivotably connected to the side of the pivot bar, and are being adapted to be cross-connected at different crossing angles to adjacent pivot bars, using the at least three fasteners distributed along the length of each side of the pivot bar.

Entanglement obstacle

An entanglement obstacle for obstructing an area of a surface includes a mesh layer suspended over upright perimeter members via a perimeter cable and over upright central members via a central cable. The upright members are operatively attached to the surface. The perimeter cable is operatively attached to the perimeter members at a perimeter clearance above the surface to provide a trip impediment. The central cable is operatively attached to the central members at a central clearance above the surface to provide a step-over impediment. The central clearance is greater than the perimeter clearance. The mesh layer is operatively attached to the perimeter and central cables such that the mesh layer covers the obstructed area to provide an entanglement obstacle. The mesh layer is inclined from the central cable to each of first and second sides of the obstacle at an angle defined by the central perimeter clearances.

Ballistic Barrier

A ballistic barrier is provided which is relatively easy and inexpensive to install and implement. The ballistic barrier may include a plurality of panels, each panel having a plurality of slats arranged downwardly at an angle with respect to horizontal. When an incoming bullet strikes a slat, its energy is redirected and the bullet is deflected downward toward the ground. Various thicknesses, materials, and dimensions of slats can be used. In addition, the slats can be arranged at an angle somewhere between 0 and 90 degrees, depending on the desired application. All of the slats may be arranged at substantially the same angle, or they may arranged at different angles. Backer plates may further be included to prevent bullets from travelling any appreciable distance beyond the fence. The backer plates may be constructed and attached in a manner that permits airflow between adjacent backer plates. A facing may be included to prevent people from climbing the fence slats.
