Mobile correctional facility robots
11536547 · 2022-12-27 · ·

The present disclosure is directed to mobile correctional facility robots and systems and methods for coordinating mobile correctional facility robots to perform various tasks in a correctional facility. The mobile correctional facility robots can be used to perform many of the tasks traditionally assigned to correctional facility guards to help reduce the number of guards needed in any given correctional facility. When cooperation is employed among multiple mobile correctional facility robots to execute tasks, a central controller can be used to coordinate the efforts of the multiple robots to improve the performance of the overall system of robots as compared to the performance of the robots when working in uncoordinated effort to execute the tasks.

NON-INJURIOUS INCAPACITATING DEVICE AND METHOD OF USE THEREOF

A non-injurious incapacitating device is provided that includes an exterior layer defining a contained volume. A primary effect is contained within the device that deploys to size at least 10 times that of the contained volume. A power supply and a sensor are provided. The sensor communicates a contact or proximity signal when the exterior layer contacts or is within an effective range of a target. A control circuit interconnects provides a triggering signal to the primary effect based on the contact or proximity signal. The device is provided in some embodiments as a system inclusive of a launcher. A method of non-injuriously incapacitating of a target individual is also provided in which a user directs a device into proximity of the target individual. The device deploys an expansive primary effect to non-injuriously incapacitate the target individual.

Battering Ram Apparatus with Cannister Deployment
20220357134 · 2022-11-10 ·

A cannister deployment apparatus for discharge of gas cannisters within a target building includes a battering ram arranged for being carried on a vehicle for penetrating into the building when impacted on the building by the vehicle. The battering ram has a housing with a plurality of receptacles for receiving the cannisters to be discharged respectively therein. The receptacles include (i) one or more release receptacles arranged to release the respective cannister from the release receptacle upon actuation by a release actuator so that the cannister is discharged from the housing, and (ii) one or more discharge receptacles enabling actuation of the respective cannister into an active state while the cannister remains supported within the discharge receptacle upon actuation by a discharge actuator arranged to trigger a release lever of the cannister in the discharge receptacle into an active state.

Anti-ballistic materials and system

Anti-ballistic systems and methods for making same are described. The anti-ballistic systems may be formed from various materials arranged in a structure, such as a wall structure. For example, an anti-ballistic system may be formed from a metal material, a polymer material, and a stone material. In some embodiments, the metal material may include aluminum (for example, an aluminum composite panel), the polymer material may include ethylene vinyl acetate, and the stone material may include granite. The anti-ballistic wall systems may be configured to be resistant to ballistics, blasts, and/or forced entry.
