RUGGEDIZED HOLDER
A ruggedized holder has a base unit that accepts a roll of target media. The base unit includes a first side plate and a second side plate that opposes the first side plate. Moreover, a lower deflector plate having a front facing surface extends between the first side plate and the second side plate. Also, the base unit includes an upper deflector plate that extends between the first side plate and the second side plate above the lower deflector plate. The first side plate, the second side plate, the lower deflector plate and the upper deflector plate define an enclosure that protects the roll of target media. In addition, a stand can couple to the base unit.
Weapon safety system
A weapon safety system with a target and a weapon with an automated lock. Each target is associated with an emitter which transmits a clearance signal that encodes an identifier. The encoded identifier may release the automated lock when received by a receiver attached to the weapon. In order to restrict the positions and orientations from which the weapon can fire to those surrounding the desired targets, shooting is enabled and the automated lock is released, when the following conditions are met: the clearance signal is received by the receiver, so that the receiver is within a first enablement area generated by a first aperture in the emitter; a measured optical power is above a predefined threshold; and the encoded identifier is validated.

Wrinkle detector for a fabric printer
A wrinkle detector for detecting creases or wrinkles to protect a print head of a fabric printer from occlusion by protruding fabric. The wrinkle detector comprises a mounting located in advance of a print head relative to fabric approaching to be printed, the mounting comprising one or more deflectable elements extending into a predetermined clearance zone between the printing head and the fabric, wherein deflection of the elements is used as an indicator of fabric protruding into the clearance zone. The detector may be used to halt or modify printing, in particular ink jet printing of the fabrics so that occlusion does not block the printing nozzles.

A self-healing reactive target includes a target apparatus and a target holder. The target apparatus is a solid one-piece target apparatus made from a self-healing material. The target holder is configured to hold the one-piece target apparatus. The target holder is made from a tear resistant and self-healing material. Wherein, the solid one-piece target is configured to move about the target holder for providing reactive feedback when shot. Wherein the solid one-piece target apparatus is configured to spin within the target holder for providing instant feedback when shot.
