An archery bow can include a riser, a first limb coupled to the riser, a second limb coupled to the riser, a string extending between the first and second limb, and Non-Newtonian material (NN material). The NN material can be incorporated into at least one of the riser, the first limb, the second limb, the string, or another component of the archery bow. The NN material can have a material property (e.g., viscosity) which varies relative to a stress or force applied to the NN material. One or more portions of NN material can additionally, or alternatively, be incorporated into a projectile (e.g., an arrow) for an archery bow, an archery target or other archery equipment.

A target apparatus including a post having a point on a first end, and an opposing second end; a plurality of support members, each having a first end connected to the second end of the post, and an opposing second end; and a central deflector having a point; and wherein each of the second ends of each of the plurality of support members is spaced apart from each of the other second ends of the plurality of support members; and wherein the central deflector is located within a perimeter defined by second ends of the plurality of support members. The target apparatus may further include a ring, which may be connected to the second ends of the plurality of support members.

A collapsible, portable target shooting apparatus that is easily transported and constructed in the field, backyard, or other location for shooters to use for training and recreation. When collapsed, the apparatus lies generally flat. When expanded and assembled, portions of the apparatus comprise graphics for target shooting. A shelving system supports a variety of targets, including, but not limited to, three-dimensional targets such as fruit, cans, bottles, or any similar item. The apparatus may be made of cardboard, stiff paper, plastic, Kevlar, wood, metal, Styrofoam, or similar materials, or combinations thereof.

The practice bow and arrow set is an apparatus designed for indoor or outdoor use. The practice bow and arrow set displays a training targets of game animals. The game animals displayed in the target have appropriate target areas of the game animal highlighted. The target is displayed behind a transparent shield. The bow of the practice bow and arrow set can be a full size bow suitable for hunting. The arrow of the practice bow and arrow set is the size and weight of an arrow suitable for hunting but the tip of the arrow has been replaced with a suction cup. When shot at the target, the arrow adheres to the transparent shield allowing the shooter to see exactly where the arrow struck the target. An assembly-type physical dart target includes assembly plates, engagement strips, and a frame. Each assembly plate is formed by an arrow standing layer and a projection layer, and has surface gloss higher than that of the arrow standing layer. The arrow standing layer has two sliding slots disposed on two sides thereof, respectively, and each sliding slot has a retraction side disposed on a side edge thereof away from the projection layer. Each engagement strip has two protruding side edges and an assembly part disposed thereon, and each protruding side edge is engaged with the sliding slot. Therefore, the target can provide a good projection effect, and make image projection technology work well in physical throwing exercise, and has nice structural strength to form a large target, so that a user can quickly assemble the target or partially disassemble the target for replacing a damaged part.

An arrow golf system has a bow having a bowstring, an arrow having a shaft with a ball on one end with a fletching and a string nock on an opposite end, a starting location, a finishing location, and a capturing apparatus at the finishing location. A player shoots the arrow from the starting location with the bow, to a second location closer to the finishing location, retrieves the arrow at the second location, and shoots the arrow toward the capturing apparatus from the second location.

An arrow golf system has a bow having a bowstring, an arrow having a shaft with a ball on one end with a fletching and a string nock on an opposite end, a starting location, a finishing location, and a capturing apparatus at the finishing location. A player shoots the arrow from the starting location with the bow, to a second location closer to the finishing location, retrieves the arrow at the second location, and shoots the arrow toward the capturing apparatus from the second location.

An example target pin is disclosed having a body for a removable shaft. The body has a base and a support structure configured to retain the removable shaft substantially perpendicular to the base when the removable shaft is assembled in the support structure of the body. The removable shaft is assembled in the body and is then ready for use by press it through a target into a target backing to hold the target securely in place on the target backing during archery or other target shooting.

A projectile target preferably for archery practice is provided, which includes an improved construction for assembling the target and capturing arrows and other similar projectiles while preventing the arrows and similar projectiles from penetrating entirely through the target and projecting through or exiting the opposite side of the target. The target may be provided in a two-sided configuration with target patterns on both opposite faces of the target body. The main target body preferably is formed of a layered construction with at least first and second target layers which are joined in facing relation to form the main target body. The first and second target layers form first and second halves of the main body, which are joined together in facing relation to define a central plane in which a puncture resistant middle layer section is formed.

A target system can detect the location of a projectile disposed within a target and subsequently alter an image being displayed on the target in response to the location of the detected projectile. The target system can include a sensor, an image source, a portable electronic device, and a computing device. The sensor can be positioned on the target to detect the location of the projectile on a face of the target. The image source can project an image onto the face of the target. The portable electronic device can receive input from a user to dictate the image(s) displayed on the target. The computing device can be communicatively coupled to the sensor, the image source, and the portable electronic device and cause the target system to detect the location of the projectile and subsequently alter the image displayed on the target in response to the location.
