Target system with unique target sensing
20170370684 · 2017-12-28 ·

A portable target apparatus is described including a threat/shoot target and a no threat/no shoot target positioned near the threat/shoot target. A user defined number of projectile impacts on only the threat/shoot target move it to a position out of the shooter's field-of-view. The threat/shoot target remains in the shooter's field-of-view whenever the no threat/no shoot target is impacted by a projectile.

TACTICAL TARGETING AND WILDLIFE MITIGATION INFLATION DEVICE AND METHODS OF USE
20230200372 · 2023-06-29 ·

The present invention generally relates to an inflation device having a base with a top surface containing an aperture and a control device, a motor having a shaft mounted within the base and controlled by the control device, a propeller fixedly secured to the motor to produce an upward thrust, an inflation member secured to the base, circumscribing the aperture, and arranged for inflation by the upward thrust of the propeller, a plurality of wireless motion sensors spaced in the vicinity of the base to detect the presence of movement and to communicate with the control device to initiate inflation of the inflation member, and a random time generator to control random inflation of the inflation member. A method of using the inflation device is also provided in both a tactical training and a wildlife mitigation setting.

Target holding system

A target holding system is configured to hold a target struck by a bullet. The target holding system has a first bracket, connected to a second bracket with a first lateral support and a second lateral support. A central plate is connected to the first bracket and the second bracket and further comprising a first side first opening and a second side first opening. A rotating rod is rotatably connected to the first bracket and the second bracket and further comprising a first side slot and a second side slot. The target further comprises a central stem connected to a circular target, a first side leg and a second side leg. In a first mode of operation, the first side leg is slid through the first side slot and into the first side first opening while the second side leg is slid through second side slot and into the second side first opening. When the bullet strikes the circular target, the central stem remains upright. In a second mode of operation, the first side leg is slid through the first side slot and is adjacent to the central plate while the second side leg is slid through the second side slot and is adjacent to the central plate. When the bullet strikes the circular target, the central stem moves rotationally and downward.

CONFIGURABLE SHOOTING TRAINING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
20170336172 · 2017-11-23 ·

The invention provides a system for pointing targets, at a random sequence, by parameters determined by the device itself or by a human operator. The system includes a main unit and optional remote input/output devices. The system includes a plurality of pointing laser devices that are moveable and rotatable allowing to aim the pointing devices individually. A remote device could be attached or integrated into a firearm.

AUTOMATED TARGET SYSTEM

Example systems, devices, and methods related to an automated target system are provided. In this regard, a target pod device, that may be installed in a target base is provided. The target pod device may include a hinge, a target paddle, a rotary actuator, a sensor, and a processor. The target paddle may be operably coupled to the hinge and the rotary actuator may be operably coupled to the target paddle. The rotary actuator may be configured to rotate the target paddle to a deployed position or a retracted position. The sensor may detect that the target paddle has been moved toward the retracted position. The processor may be configured to transmit a signal to the rotary actuator to cause the rotary actuator to rotate the target paddle, and determine whether the target paddle has been moved toward the retracted position by a projectile.
